  1. we did one a couple years ago, they bolt up fine, but IIRC there was an issue with the transmission computer, one box is controlled externally and the other is all in the transmission.
  2. when you spun the engine over to build oil pressure did you have spark plugs fitted to the engine?
  3. Cars are AWESOME
  4. Cars are AWESOME
  5. RB26 rebuild for $3500?????
  6. Got rid of the dampener all together. Our cooler piping went though the side. Im pretty sure we used the stock cable.
  7. Swap the dampener with the FPR and you should be ok. If you look carefully we had the FPR where the dampener used to be.
  8. We've fit one before. The stock fuel rail is fine, as you said washer bottle and fuse box are in the way. Stock throttle body needs to go along with the traction control gear. From memory we used an R33 throttle body.
  9. House of Trim in Prestons does all our trim work.
  10. Exactly what i was thinking LOL. OP - So you "bypassed" the head unit and ran a MP3 player as the source and the noise wasn't there? Is this correct? If so i would be saying the head unit is rooted.
  11. Paul, Red R Racing.
  12. Bump make an offer these need to go they also come with billet rays centre caps
  13. Thanks dude. Apparently I'm a dreamer. Some guys on here who have no idea on ho much it costs to build cars would prefer a rust bucket to start a build. I think I'm going to keep it though, but I guess if the right money comes along ill let it go.
  14. 1. no one said it was a GTR so I don't know what you're getting at there? 2. For someone who wants a perfect car it will add value. I know if I was planning on building a streeter I would rather pay more for a car thats been stripped back to bare metal than a heap of shit thats full of bog and rust. To go and strip a 32 to bare metal and repair any damage and paint it so its like new is gonna cost an easy 20k. Its not full of rust and shitty repairs, and covered by multiple layers of mis-matched paint like most R32s going round for under 10k. 3. When i say all it needs is an engine and box thats all it needs. I don't see how you can say it needs more than that when you don't know the car. Its slightly more than a roller considering its only 2 months away from being a complete car minus engine and box. Like I said the car has everything, suspension, brakes, A/C, heater, wiring, glass etc etc etc. Oh and BTW here is the definition of GRONK
  15. Sounds about right. No guard indicators, no roof aerial, JDM tail lights, rear bar filler is different too.
  16. Thanks for your input buddy, regardless of how useless it may be. Actually had a guy come look at it yesterday and make an offer.
  17. Hey guys Seriously thinking of selling my R32 which I've owned for almost 10 years now. Was a show car then stripped down for a full rebuild into an immaculate streeter. Want to invest some more money in the business so time to sell some toys. R32 GTS shell (stripped down to bare metal repaired and currently in hi fill) R32 GTR front and rear guards (all genuine parts) R32 GTR front bar N1 Side skirts Carbon roof overlay (real carbon not vinyl shit) Carbon front lip Carbon GTR bonnet Carbon boot lid Carbon GTR wing Carbon N1 boot lip Removed rear tow hooks and holes in bar plastic welded N1 rear window (no wiper) Car is getting painted R35 GTR Titanium Grey after new years. All inner guards and under body painted in fresh under body black. Full (EVERYTHING) re-trim in black leather with carbon fibre accent pieces R34 GTR style seats Brand new B/C pillar trims Immaculate dash Brand new black carpet Immaculate un-cut wiring harnesses No bogy half assed wiring here Only thing this car needs is a crazy engine and gearbox and it will be one of the neatest R32s on the road. Ideally id like 10-12K. Yes price is high for a roller but It is a completely rebuilt fresh car. And paint work is worth 10K alone. No hidden repairs filled with bog, accident damage, shitty paint or worn trim, etc, etc. Its like getting in a brand new car.
  18. Heres a pic of another QLD mod plate you can sort of tell the writing is in the same places and the size looks the same to me. It's like an engineers certificate for QLDers, an engineer signs off on all the mods fits the plate and then lodges the details with their "RTA" The ad for the car clearly states that its for the cage.
  19. In the city couple years ago, just when they started going hard on the EPA stuff. I actually copped one $80 fine for the two pages of defects. And a couple hundred for the noise level, but nothing for the screamer and lack of cat.
  20. Interested PM or email me [email protected]
  21. I've been caught with both a screamer and no cat at one of those EPA/defect setups. Didn't get a fine, only got an EPA notice. Car has never seen the road since LMAO
  22. That looks like a QLD mod plate
  23. I'm not sure but they fit an S14 with a bit of mucking around if that helps. I'm reckon with a bit of camber and the right tyres on the front they would fit.
  24. Personally I would go with the TSI white car, I've seen it before and IMO is the best value for the money. If you find a decent private one go for it but while looking around I haven't seen many decent ones myself.
