  1. Or for around $260 get some Performance Springs from Performance Wholesale, handle up to 11mm of lift- very cheap, good quility, I have them in my RB25 and bought some for my 26/30buildup as well Food for thought
  2. Hey Michael, I'll probably need all the help i can get with the dry sump if i go that route! Yes, the cage is on the list of things to do. Ultimately, I am keen to enter JDM- would like to get a bit of experience just driving on the track, only driven on a race track 4 times now- still very green and have a lot to learn:blush: What sort of cage would i need?
  3. Yes, Phil did. I built my engine under the watchful eye of Phil and my new 26/30 will also come under the same scrutiny. I start that build late Jan08 - off overseas for 4 months next week with work. Great to see some shots of the car up for others to see and look farward to Evan . Can't wait to see it racing in QLD next year!
  4. Hi Roy, Please update my time to 58.3 for sprint track and 61.8 for clubman Thanks gone softer on rear suspension as well!
  5. Good to see another S13 ready to take on the Skylines at the track. Come and give me a hand, i need some support. Michael(r 33 racer), took another 0.4 seconds off sprint track today and bit bit over 1 second on clubman. Great fun today, car much nicer/easier to drive after a few changes! Think my brake master cylinder might be on the way out- vacuum not working very well, no leaks that i can find. That's my last go for the year, off to US until Xmas with work. Building a 26/30 for the Sil80... might source dry sump pump for it while I'm there!
  6. As above, after a standard item. Thanks I'm in Brisbane
  7. Hi Gary, You know I'm a big fan of the kit. I have a knocking noise coming from the rear, so I took it to the suspension shop that installed it, they said the noise is from the pillowball part of the bearing plate in the rear. They mentioned the only fix for it was a new pillowball top. Have any others had this problem? Cheers Simon
  8. Pathetic photo, but I'm always in it so no pics on the track. Here's my crapper, more skyline than 180 now. Good fun, street and the odd sprint day. Would like to get down to NSW and Vic to try some tracks other than QR. Want to get into the 57 bracket on semi slicks sprint track @ QR
  9. Yes but your Skyline does really GO Evan!! But, we all wanna see the "special" car you're building......read we all wanna drool over the car that looks like an S13
  10. So.......how much has been spent Looks like an Origin wing there Michael?? Nice flames.......does it go?? :laughing-smiley-014:
  11. Hi guys, You may have read that i have SK's complete 32 Bilstein kit to my car. It fantastic and i am very happy with it having driven it on the track as well. I am about to buy a Liberty 2.5 litre turbo GTSpec B(Bilstein suspension) for my wife. I have test driven it and can honestly say that i was dissapointed with it's ride compared to the Skyline. Overall good, but not as compliant and a "jiggly" ride. I feel i am in a good position to compare SK's S13 package when it's released as i will purchase the complete track kit. As a baseline, my times at QR are below. Current set-up HKS Hypermax2 7kg with front camber tops 5kg rears Tune agent castor arms Rear tune agent camber, toe and thrust arms Whiteline adjustable sway bars Rear alighment kit I am not a great driver but am learning. SK will say that the rear is too stiff, so ii purchased a set of 4kg springs for the rear to help offset the oversteer. I have not fitted these yet as i wanted to get a baseline for comparison. The car is difficult to drive on the limit as the Dunlop Direzza's DZ02 don't provide the feedback the DJ01's did. I had to go up from 16 inch to 17 inch to fit over my front calipers- the reason for the change in tyre. Current settings L R Castor 7.1 7.1 Camber -3.2 -3.0 (wasn't enough on front left- need at least 4.0) toe 0 0 Swaybar Softest setting Rear toe +1mm +1mm Camber -1.0 -1.0 (need probably -1.5 left rear) Swaybar Middle setting Hope this will be of some benefit. I'll post the differences once the package is on the car and track day completed. Of note is the 32 suspension package is much nicer and easier to drive than the current S13 set up
