  1. I've just seen that the exhaust trims are larger than the T67 and T06SL, this one is TD06H. sorry for the screw around. Would like your input of the water cooling vs oil only though...
  2. Hey guys, Just wanted to confirm with you that this is the same as the T67 just a water cooled variant. I wrote and asked Eiji, but he never responded. The trims and housings look the same. I'd prefer to run this in the track car rather than the oil cooled only. I've only used Garret/HKS previously, is there any real benefit with water cooling? Thanks http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-4-Inlet-TD06H-25G-T3-4-bolt-10cm-AR-73-500P-/290657754622?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ac8d5dfe#ht_2275wt_1187
  3. Ok, photobucket geekers, what am i doing wrong, this pic is tiny???
  4. Here is the power/torque graph i tried to post a few days ago. Hopefully this is clearer/bigger, I've included the link this time as well. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f377/jungle71/photo.jpg
  5. You can thank photobucket for resizing it, I'll have another go tonight when I'm home. Are they both on E85 or 98?
  6. Here is the 3037s graph showing torque and power. The pink run was the original turbo, the red one was after it was rebuilt by GCG. Look for a faint pencil line, that is SimonR32's run on E85. It shows T67 a little behind the 3037 until 4500- there's nothing in it so you can say they are roughly the same- after which, the T67 walks away. Both my runs are at 19psi I know i said mine made 430, it did, this was re-tuned after i plumbed the external gate back into the main exhaust which lost some power in the top end - not shown in these graphs.
  7. Simon, I was being facetious- sorry. It'll rev to whenever it stops making useful power. That said, yes built balanced blueprinted etc etc. But i will probably stop around 8000. I remember when Gibson motorsport stopped revving them past 7000 towards the end of the Group A era, i don't remember the exact figures, but engine rebuilds went from a a few hundred km's to into the low thousands. I'm not chasing every ounce of power, solid performance & reliability is my goal. Thanks for the torque graph.j I'll scan my 25 printout tomorrow as a comparison and post it.
  8. Hey SimonR32, As little as possible But probably 7500. My 25 used to make 430hp@7400 and still make power on the way to 8000 but i didn't like revving it that hard. I should post up a dyno graph as its interesting to compare it to your T67 result on E85. Actually your graph was what convinced me to go T67! In a nutshell 3037 in front until 3500 from my hazey memory from last night while i was trying to digest all 90+pages... but after that the T67 romps away Do any of you guys with the T67 have a torque graph you can post- I don't care about the numbers or scaling, i'd just like to see the shape of the curve? DVS JEZ- i run -5's on the 26/30 in my GTR. Just awesome. Its in the shop now for it's final tune...before i sell it to provide me with some more fun tickets so i can finish my little track car The 6boob jobbie really does make quite a difference- i picked up 30hp while dropping 2psi on the 3037! BTW the 26 is going in my S13
  9. Wow, massive read over the last 3 days. Thanks to all who have contributed, been very informative & it's helped me pick and change my mind on turbo selection for the RB26 build. I was going to select 3076, as i used to run a HKS3037S on my RB25 before it expired, or -5's. Engine is only used for track duties, time attack here in QLD. My main concern was response but comparing the results with my 3037 graphs have helped me pick the T67-25G. I plan to run it on 98 until i find a consistent source of E85. I need solid torque by 3800-400rpm otherwise i'm left in a hole between 2 & 3rd gear. Just got my head, valves and ex mani's(twins now not needed) back from the ceramic coater..... Need to get a mani for single turbo now. Not chasing massive hp, but want 430rwhp as that's what my old 25 3037 combo had before i cracked the block. I'll post up some results around mid to late Feb when it's complete. cheers
  10. Hey what seat sliders did you use for the recaro rail? Cheers Simon
  11. Tend to agree, my previous 25, 6boost, single turbo, external gate plumbed back in and Xforce 3inch sounded more like a MotoGP bike than an RB when up it, quite high pitched and very different to a 26.
  12. I'm after the complete drivers door rubber, mine has perished in the top corner where the window glass meets the B pillar. I'm in QLD 4341 Thanks
  13. Want to check out some quality driving, check out GP2 here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm2BMM71S14
  14. I went from a 2.6 getting around 10-10.5km/L to the 2630 which is getting around 7km/L Still need to revisit a few things but am hopeful of getting close to 10km/L but 9 is probably more ike it. I use 260X9.1 cams
  15. Ok so how did Vetel escape penalty when Pommy git Hamilton got one...and finished a gnats pube behind him.... If you were Webber you'd have to be f****d o*f seeing every time you came into the pits except that last one Alonso covered him off. Do you think RB were telegraphing they're moves? Took the last pit when Horner said they had to do a dummy pit for force Alonso in....funny why didn't they do that the first time...
  16. Man there are a lot of Webber haters on here, next thing you'll hating Kylie Minogue as well
  17. How in the world did we go from tyres issues to aircon. WTF?? So back to my build thread rather than chat thread. I don't at all mind the banter thats been going on in this thread for the last 2 weeks or so, as long as its helpful. I hope to twist my other tuners arm this week and get the GTR on the dyno to see what he thinks is going on....
  18. Nice work Noel, hope she works out!
  19. Hey Stuart, $20, i reckon it would be a bit more than that. If you were willing to lock in 20 for postage i'd take it off you yesterday.... that said, i've sourced one locally for cheaper than listed prices here. Thanks everyone for responding!!
  20. The whole 26 vs 30 is bullshit anyway, it's like saying, my dad is better than you're dad. We all have different requirements and we like what we like, it just may be different that the next person and really, if you're going to get wound up about it, then power to you, i really couldn't give a shit. I love the 30, it suits me and my requirements and when i get the rest of the timing sorted it'll sing its nuts off like a 2.6. For people in QLD who want one in their 32, ring Mick and Signature Performance, he'll be very happy to oblige fitting it in. That said i'll be putting a 26 in my S13...
  21. No reply to this so i'm guessing you don't have one?
  22. Thanks for the replies guys, would prefer something local (Brisbane/Goldy) otherwise you pay through the nose for postage.
  23. Its interesting listening to views on the differing capacities. As this is a street car and my daily, the 3 litre is a no brainer-soooo much more torque, driveability compared to the 2.6 is just night and day. I like the fact it's like driving a v8. Getting into a 32 was not without problems, however now i wouldn't go back to a 2.6 in a GTR. Still haven't been able to get it back to the dyno to try a few things but i'll post when i have. In the mean time, i hope to start the 2.6 build for my S13 soon as i haven't been on the for 2 years this july. That said, be interested to hear from anyone that's changed to the CES dump/front pipe arrangement as i'm looking at that doing, but making them all a little longer.
