Sorry guys, been out of the country so much this year and i'm back now for at least a few months. Updating this thread, rods and pistons sold, everything else still available. Items located in Brisbane. Bare Head, just rebuilt, new seats, valve grind, light port, hardness checked, smoothed bowls $1000 Great for 25/30 swap!! Can provide std cams, includes cam covers and valley cover, recently powder coated. Tomei Poncams 256 inlet/exhaust 8.5mm lift $700 includes adjustable cam gears Performance springs to suit above cams and capable of controlling 10mm+ lift $200 6Boost manifold to suit GT25 flange on the HKS3037 turbo $800. Changing from another aftermarket manifold to this, picked up 30hp alone with no changes to boost or timing!!!! Suit turbosmart wastegate. Ceramic coated by Competition Coating HKS 3037S 56T with 0.74 ex housing. This is rated at 480hp. My engine was making 430rwhp on 19psi on PITS dyno. I will include all the dash fitting and lines for this to bolt up to your 25. This is oil & water feeds and returns and oil return to sump. You need to tap your block for these to fit. Will also throw in the 3 inch dump from turbo to under the car, suits S13 series car although i imagine it would also fit a R33 but you' need to check it. Turbo has just been rebuilt by GCG after a gasket failure, and has done barely 50km. Exhaust housing also cermaic coated by Competition Coatings. This thing is brand new again! Grab yourself a bargain, get the real HKS item $2500 Turbosmart Progate 48mm wastegate $400 Ryal inlet manifold, individually machined bellmouths, standard tb 5.2 litre capacity, injector holes modified to suit top feeds. $1000 550cc injectors with fuel rail $700 New o rings as of last month!

Thanks guys, yet to pull the engine out to see what's left. Hoping it has screwed anything else, thinking i noticed it as it happened but i'll find out soon enough. Yes was thinking nitto as well. What are your thoughts on standard pumps? Is there any info on their failure rate compared to others. I do note that all N1 failures have aftermarket balancers and i'm not suggesting they are at fault, just interesting. A very good friend of mine runs a 25/30 with VL oil pump and standard balancer- makes 500+hp. He gives that thing curry and limiter bounces it regularly with no issues. That's a pretty good accolade Duncan! Is there potential to alter the spring so it relieves a little earlier to have it produce close to standard pump outputs? Cheers

Yes it was. Am thinking of just fitting a standard RB30 pump and balancer, mine is a street car and will never see the track. I have an RB25 using the standard water & oil pump and balancer with 430rwhp for almost 5 years without any issue and it see a decent amount of track time.

Reviving old post. My N1 oil pump failed this morning. Engine 26/30 4500km still on run in tune, crank collar fitted & Ross balancer. never hit limiter, probably spun above 500rpm 6-10 times Looking at putting a standard RB30 pump in.

Built Rb26 Turbo Selection For Drift
Simonster replied to Goodfellas's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
give strong consideration to the choice of your oil pump. I had one the same as yours, failed today on a brand new engine and 4500km and never saw the limiter once... -
So what was/is the secret? You talking about the ingenious ride height control??

Hey Guys, My Silver 32 4 door was stolen on Saturday around lunch time from Riverview Tce Indooroopilly- just behind the shopping centre. Was only away from it for around 2-3 hours. nothing left on the ground, no marks, nothing Only mentioning it on here now as i left the country on Sunday morning for 10 days & this is the first opportunity i've had. If you see it or here about it, please send me a PM. I just want it back Here's a few pics to trigger your memory if you see it. The only difference from the pics and now is it has tinted windows and a slim line front number plate Rego is 110 JSJ Had about 1/4 tank of fuel. Thanks

Air Bubble In Atessa Resevior
Simonster replied to Simonster's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Ah ok. I suspected that it was a problem cause when i turn the cars ignition on, I can hear a motor running for a short period of time, i gather its getting the atessa up to pressure. That motor is running for longer now, around 4 seconds whereas a number of months ago, it made no noise at all. That's why i thought the air bubble was not normal. So what would cause this motor to run- low fluid. I've checked the leves and they are fine? Thanks -
Air Bubble In Atessa Resevior
Simonster replied to Simonster's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Anyone have any thoughts or info on this? -
Hi, I have noticed recently when turning on the ignition, an electric pump (not the fuel pump) underneath the back of the car ran for a second or so. The time it ran for slowly increased so i checked out the atessa reservoir. It seems to have a section towards the bottom where there appears to be an air gap. I gather this is what it is, and the filter may have something to do with that. When you look at the reservoir the oil level is fine but there seems to be an air-gap towards the bottom of the tank. Is there anyway to remove the top of the reservoir and take out the filter?? Any guidance is appreciated.

So it's got standard turbo's and a tripple plate? Regardless as doo doo has said, tripples are over kill. I had a single plate built to suit my engine. It will handle 600ft/lbs of torque at the engine. It's a little heavier than a production clutch- just awesome. All that for under 1k

Subframe Spacers To Run Rb30 In R32 Gtr
Simonster replied to dorifticon's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
And still yet no one has called to get it done..... -
That's all correct, except the suspension isn't just bolt on stuff, its decent stuff that's not made in the usual places. Exceptional effort from Wayne

Interesting, i also heard is it was down ~120hp due to a standard head. Got that from one of the top competitors as well...
