I'd totally forgotten about making copies of this DVD for people... ...Since I made the first post I've got a new computer and some other software and can now make copies... Who wants one???...

As long as the tyres, offset, and diameter were all the same on all four I don't see why there would be a problem with having different rims on either side... ...Put a black set on the right side and a silver set on the left... It'd be a lot easier to tell who ripped you off too...

I'd like to give something other than the family birthdays a go... ...But I only really have my YouTube vids of club meets from ages ago... ...I've gotten a little better and have updated my computer since then...

How can a four door be 300 lighter???...

Yeah... ...I know the ones... I have clients with sons and grandsons that keep asking me to come down and give them a run... ...I know one that had his "L"s run out because he's lazy and his ute's rego ran out... ...he still goes down there...

I'm giving the rule light a test today... ... Let's just hope I don't find I need to buy a new globe...

This afternoon I was just tossing some ideas around with a mate that works for a council and we came up with the idea of a public skidpan... ...It was mainly because we were sitting on his back fence and watching the kids wipe out on the skate ramp in the park... ...Such a good laugh... Anyway... ...We noticed that just near the ramps was a public emergency phone... ...I guess if some kid really hurts himself then his mates could get some help coming before they piss off... And this phone got us talking about how this kids are here at their own risk and that if they really needed help they could get it... ...So we thought that if there was a public skidpan somewhere it could also be set up with emergency phones and fire equipment and the public could use the skidpan at their own risk... ...But away from residential... ...Maybe in an industrial park... The phones and emergency equipment could be stored around the skidpan behind glass that once broken alerted police/fire/paramedics... ...maybe even with cameras setup that started recording what was going on... ...with something like a 10 min back record... ...(I know the risk of vandalism)... Of course this would all be "Use at Your Own Risk"... ...but it is being done in a semi-supervised environment... I'm sure there would be heaps of legal issues... ...and councils wouldn't want the costs... ...But skate parks have got some kids to stop pestering people around shopping centres... ...Maybe this could work for cars... Thoughts???...

I don't think I've ever seen the fuel light... ...How low does the needle get before it comes on???...

I've been keeping track of my fuel consumption on my iPhone... Because of work I'm also making lots of short trips of about 10 min / 2 to 9Km every hour or so... ...I think I got around 600Km on a GOR cruise once and around the same going up to Swan Hill... ...But that was before I started recording my fuel...

Quite a while ago I was at an "event" and ran into a few other SAU members... ...I'm sorry I don't remember the members... ...and it was quite a big mixed gathering near Dandenong... ...And at sometime during the night some tool in a ford or holden started doing a burnout... ...And then another... ...and another... ...And with that I turned to the other SAU members and thanked them for the chat and I'm off home... ...Someone questioned me as to why I was off so early and I just said that I didn't want to let people see the SAU stickers and associate the current behavior with OUR club... ...And with that they also hopped into their cars and followed me off... It wasn't until about a month or two later when I ran into a guy that I went to high school with that's from another car club ("RollaBoys" I think) and they told me that it was quite impressive to see a dozen Skylines from the same club all move out at once... ...and pressed me on why we left so early... ...I told him that we (SAU members that were there) didn't like our club to be associated with that behavior... ...He told me he wished he was with a club that felt that way... I felt quite chuffed...

I taped the Seven news tonight... ...Just extracting the pice and popping it up on YouTube at the moment... ...Here's a quick photo of the offending SAU members car...

A few weeks ago I got my Licence Renewal and about a week after that I logged into my internet banking and paid it... ...Come to Monday just gone and I get pulled over for what I believe was not giving way to a police car who was doing a U-turn in front of me where I was coming out of a side street and doing a left turn... ...As far as I know I have the right of way in that situation... ...He didn't have his lights on and had to slam his breaks on to avoid hitting me... ...Crises everted and I drive on... ...About 300m down the road his lights come on and I have to drive a bit of a way to get past some parked cars and a bus and he hits the noise too... Now I think this was my one and only mistake here because when he asked me if I knew why he stopped me I said, "Because you failed to give way while doing a U-turn and have stopped me to apologise to me?"... He didn't say anything and just asked for my licence... ...I gave it to him and he pointed to the date... ...which was about 7 days past it's expiry... ...So I pull out the renewal form which I wrote down the Bpay code on but forgot to put down the date I paid it... ...And he said that it isn't acceptable and when back to his car for a bit and then told me that I don't have a licence... ...And so today I get the Infringement Notice in the mail... Now my question is... ...Has anyone ever had trouble with Bpay and VicRoads, or the Police, when it comes to Licence Renewal???...

Don't worry... ...She looks all new now... ...I just wish they did a re-fab on both headlights and not just the one... I'm missing a vinyl on one part of the car now... ...So I'm thinking it's time they all have to go... ...If you come up to me on friday at the East/West meet and ask nicely I might let you take one off...
