I found this one night in an old yard near my place in Anjo...

I wanted to get the new Pioneer one... ...but once I found out it is around $3000.oo... ...I went for the TomTom ONE XL... ...I don't need all the stuff the 910 and 710 do... There are a few things I'd like it to do... ...Like stop my GF from fidgeting with the centre console latch... *click click click* ...and I wish it had a "learn" function... ...something where it would learn that I go down certain streets to get home to avoid the speed humps... ...and take that into account when I'm going home... ...and I haven't worked out how to hard wire the cig'-ligher power cord under the dash... The other big drawback... ...and I think this has to do with the people that make the maps and not the units themselves... ...is that the fastest and the shortest route are almost always the same... ...but not always the fastest... ...I think this is because the people who do the maps here in Australia don't have all the speed limits on all the streets... ...or things like the number of lights at intersections... ...It will tell me to take Springvale Road when I know Westal Road is quicker because I don't have as many lilghts and I don't have the rail crossing... ...and Westal is 80 where Springvale can be as slow as 40 depending on the time of day... Otherwise I love it... =^_^=

    Personal Plates.

I have no idea... ...that's why they're my throw aways... It's just a list I came up with... ...mainly because I saw a few "English" plates over in Japan that were messed up and may have got past because their version of VicRoads didn't know what they were making...

    Personal Plates.

Indeed... ...But I came up with this list on the way back from Japan a while ago...

    Personal Plates.

Hahaha... ...I had to think about that for a moment... And it isn't taken by what the VicRoads site says...
  7. I've been trying to come up with some ideas for personal plates. And while I've worked it down to a few, I thought I'd list my throw aways. All of them are Japanese words the way you would write them with English letters. And I've tried a lot of them on the vic roads site, and they come up. If any of these breaks the Forum Rules... ...I'll remove it... Anyway... ...Here's my list... BAKA = Idiot ATTO = Idiot OSHIRI = Bum KUSO = Shit ONARA = Fart GEPPU = Burp HENTAI = Pervert CHIKAN = Pervert / Molester OTAKU = Mania / Crazy About EROI = "being naughty" MANUKE = Sleazy OPPAI = Boobs CHIKUBI = Nipple (you can get away without the last "i") CHINGE = Male pubic hair CHINPO = Dick MANGE = Femail pubic hair MANKO = C**t IKUIKU = "I'm coming I'm coming" Add yours...
  8. I'm betting on after market seats too... Stocks would drop you into the back...
  9. Hahaha... ...Sorry Cheez... ...I'm not that confused... ...Just with that many people going from so may different places... ...It's hard to chose which pre-meet to go to... With all that is going on... ...and getting to a pre-meet... ...might end up missing the big event...
  10. Oh Noes!!!... ...I can't make chooses... Too many Pre-pre-meets to go to the Pre-meets for the meeting place...
  11. Sounds like a plan... ...See you there at 9pm... Depending on if I'm staying at home or my GFs place the night before... ...I might join you for the drive to the pre-meet... ...GFs place is along your path to the pre-meet...
  12. You might want to try the car was on the corner of Heatherton and Springvale roads. There is a huge car park for the Waltze pub and a Maccas on the opisite corner that's open until 2pm on a Sat. Plus a carpark for the park about 100m from the intersection. I'll have to check again, but I think the wash is open 24/7. I guess the only problem for some people is it is in the opposite direction to the cruise.
  13. Agree 100% too... Motor wise my car is totally stock, and dad has trouble keeping up with me in his work car... ...BTW... ...Dad's work car has lots of pretty blue and white stickers and lots of flashing lights... ...and most people will stop for him when he puts in behind them...

  16. Hay Michael. I've seen it done while I was living in Japan. I can't find any photos of it on my computer at the moment. I'll have to go through all my photo albums and see if I've got any there. It's something I've been thinking about too. But I'm afraid of them being knocked off again. I had them ripped off my Panel Van a few years ago, and I never replaced them. I'll keep looking through my photos and see what I come up with.
  17. Kewl... ...Thanks for that...
  18. Count me in... \m/ =^_^= \m/
  19. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. The link for the "SAU VIC Documents" just redirects back to the Forum home page. Are all the documents to do with SAU Vic somewhere else?
  20. Never really had anything to do with 300ZXs, so never really had any idea whats in them. All cars have "extractors". It all depends on whether you call them "headers", "extractors" or "eshaust manifolds". Putting in the second turbo has crossed my mind. But think I'm going up in costs and power that I'm not really after. I still have to drive it every day for work.
  21. Thanks for sugesting the T-piece. The Ford has a join piece, but we don't know if it lets air flow between the two. It might, but it doesn't look like it. Whould you happen to know what 300ZXs run? It it a T-piece or Dual Exhaust? Thanks...
  22. I hadn't really thought about the weight issue... ...Thanks for bringing that up... My HQ doesn't join. Keeps four on one side and four on the other. The Comedydor does the same. The Ford has a pipe joining the two half way down, but we don't know if it lets any flow between the two sides...
  23. No... ...It is a turbo...
  24. Coming from a V8 family, and also owning a HQ Panel Van running a 308, all of our cars have two pipes out the back. I'm looking at this as more a visual thing, but what would be the performance Pros and Cons of a Dual Exhaust on a Skyline. I'd be looking at going from the extractors back, putting three cylinders down one side and three down the other. Thanks for your help and opinions...
