first of all - you don't have to be over 30 years old to know how to drive a fast car 2nd - you don't have to be driving a powerful car to wrap yourself around a pole 3rd - learning to drive in a piece of shit and then driving a powerful car is the same as going straight on to a fast car. why "learn how to drive" in a slow gutless car when you can learn in a faster car and speed up your driving skills? you can kill yourself even when riding a pushbike. you don't have to be driving an veyron to be in danger on the roads...

if you wanna buy a turbo but can't coz of p-plate laws etc then don't get a n/a skyline!! trust me you'll get sick of it pretty quickly, everytime you drive next a turbo skyline you'll be like oh wish my skyline was turbo etc... as others already said get something else, maybe a GTi corolla or something like that. even a v6 commo would be alright and would go harder than a N/A skyline good luck

thats wat i was thinking personally i'd never spend that much on a non turbo skyline unless maybe an r34 if you have to get a non turbo i remember seeing a fresh import r34 n/a manual clean good Ks going for 16,000 on another forum and this was a while back. don't bother with the R33s dude they are gutless, gts or gts4 same shit. good cruisers though...

hurro i had a auto R33 GTS4 aswell non turbo 1993, also stock. awsome cruisers, nice to drive and very comfortable. i remember 1 day i went for a 5 hour drive just coz i felt like it and only stopped once for petrol and once for a drink had it for about 6 months and only used normal unleaded fuel and previous owner used normal unleaded aswell. car always ran just fine never broke down or anything its only a non turbo so just service it regularly (every 7000-10,000Ks) and it'll be just fine. with the cheap fuel and normal sort of driving you'll get 500Ks per tank easily. i used to get about 380-450Ks but with my kind of driving... best of luck with it

drive whatever you want. every place or every person you talk to at vicroads has her/his own damn laws. you get pulled over and fined for driving a powerful car on your Ps just contest it and tell em to stick to 1 f**king story. they may have introduced the new laws but coz they're f**kin stupid they've also given people a very good chance of getting away with it for breaking those laws /rant
