first car (wrx) wouldn't let anyone even sit in the driver seat....no really... but hey when you work your ass off for 4 years in a shit hole then finally get a car/your dream car, you're in it all day then when your not your sitting outside and starin at it.... ofcourse i could never do such a thing as letting someone else drive the car. i mean, would you let your mate sleep with your gf/wife etc? lol but with the previous car (gts r33 auto) i even let my mum take it shopping, i had no feelings for that car.

so you were asked to get a rwc were ya? yeah you just take the car to vicroads, they'll have a look at the paper and see what you were defected for then they'll tell you to put your car in the inspection bay. they'll come out and check to see if your defects have been fixed then they'll tell ya to take the sticker off and off ya go.

no he said "he's not gonna give me a fine coz the money would be better spent on fixing the defect instead" which i thought was pretty decent of him. it says car can't be driven in the wet or after 6pm. exactly the same thing happened to me with the same car last year. also 2 rear tyres and 1 front. but the tyres back then were pretty bad and i wasn't told to get a rwc... see this is what you get for showing up to uni, i had just finished a lecture in the city campus and had another 1 in the bundoora campus so i was trying to get there. should've drove straight home instead...

ah ok. yeah there's also a brake light which worked again after giving it a kick. so yeah its just the tyres. ok will take it to vicroads and see what happens. cheers

how do you go about contesting a defect? my brother and dad just had a look at the tyres and said they're good. i shall get em checked by a mechanic tomorrow

sup, as title says i'm now looking at getting an auto series2 (coz its cheaper lol) after changing my mind so many times on what car to get but i can't seem to get over the skyrines anyways, what are they like? are you happy with yours? are you sick of it and want a manual? etc etc appreciate any help thanks
