went in the garage 1 day where my dad keeps his stuff for work and found 3 bags full of black and white cable ties. so i got me bag, popped the bonnet/boot on my old car (gt4 celica) and cable tied whatever that was even slightly moving. took off the front bar once, lost the bolts in the process. few cable ties later and front bar never looked/fit better etc etc

yeah this power to weight thing is way too over-rated. i'd rather pay the occasional fine rather than be driving a car and at the same time regretting i'm not driving a different car that i wanted more and could've bought. they both sound the same (i think) but i like the RB20 exhaust note better. if you want an r33 then there's no point in getting an r32, you will regret buying it for sure. if your worried about fines and what not then get a pushbike. meh..

yeah will also lose my license for 6months unless i drag the fine till august which is when i get points back... group hug

get a mitsubishi gto there's a very cheap twin turbo one for sale on here. 12grand or something....could spend the rest on it. rb26 conversion maybe that would be sick

quickest car i ever been in was a gtir. modded ofcourse. similar to LTHLRB - a mate also owns one, did drive it hard and blew the box. been sitting in his garage for about 6 months now, not cheap to repair.... its one of those cars.....always loved em, but would never buy one.

^^ driven a 180sx(sr20) and and an r32 both stock except for a pod. there's a huge difference with the induction/spool/loudness etc. both had the same pod aswell......well they looked the same anyway..

yeah i think you'd be asking way too much dude. with an import/modifying etc you're never gonna get what you've spent on the car its just not gonna happen. honestly with your car i'd be very happy with anything near 18-20grand. not trying to offend ofcourse its just how it is nowadays, r33s can't seem to hold their value for shit (i think anyway...) but hey best of luck i hope you get whatever you decide to sell it for. for serious

looked all over youtube there are some good ones but yeah not exactly the noise i'm after... don't think i'll ever get sick of driving a car that sounds like that lol. i mean i've heard lots of skylines drive by that sound similar but its only when your actually in the car or driving it that you get to attached to it

i test drove an r32 today but didn't buy it coz it was pretty f**ked. anyways, the car was a stocker only mod it had was a POD air filter.... i must say i was pretty f**kin surprised at how loud those things spool up from 2.5-3000rpms all you hear is SSSSSSSSSS and now almost a whole day later and i just can't get that sound out of my head i'm obsessed with it. i'm talking about the turbo spool up on an RB20 ofcourse i dont know if sound wise its the same as an RB25 (R33) ? i am definately buying an RB powered car now ffs the thing only had a pod if anyone has any sound files or something please post it up i cannot get enough of that noise!!! cheers

didn't exactly read the thread that was linked but i gather its about v8/commo people bagging skylines? i don't see a problem with that, can't blame em for sticking up for their cars how many threads have there been on this forum paying out commos and people who drive em? hell, r33 drivers here bag the shit out of r32s and vice versa skyline vs skyline ffs i'm a bit more open minded about cars so i prefer not to bag other cars and instead focus on their pros. z-tune or not. i just lol and shake my head when people compare ferraris to japs....

painted my old 33's matt black too. twas dodgy though i didn't strip whatever that was left of the original paint just gave em a wash then sprayed away! did quite a few coats. but the paint eventually started to peel off after a few days from a few places.... either: i didn't do it right paint i used was shit the water pressure from the karcher i used to wash the car was too much or all of the above...
