hmmm can't remember them saying anything about ecu.... but i did find this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...9&hl=airbag now can someone please tell me what this ajar sensor thing is? yeah i know pretty noobish....
-
ok well the airbag light on the dash of my r33 gts4 has been popping up for the last few days ever since i opened the side panel for no reason at all. anyways i checked the fuse, connections etc and they're all fine. just came back from JSV in thomastown were they quoted me $88 just for the check-up were they blug in some sorta machine and it tells ya what's wrong with your airbags. they also said stuff about some "codes" and how their machine doesn't have all the "codes" etc... does anyone know anything about this? or any places (preferably in the north western suburbs) where they work with this kinda shit? thanks in advance
-
i never told him it was standard on all r33's, i said mine's always been like that. and i've already told him i'm getting the airbag checked out.
-
hahaha pretty sure he's talking about my car yep indicaters have always been like that since i got it. at first i thought one of the indicaters was blown or something as usually they flash more rapidly when there's a faulty indicater, but they all seem to work so i just left it at that coz i don't really care how quickly they flash as long as they're all working. correct with the airbag light aswell, bout a week ago while driving i pulled out the panel on the side of the wheel just to see what the wires there looked like lol and the damn thing has been flashing ever since. the fine for driving a manual on an auto license in VIC is $110, no demerit points. got done for that once and was told to park the car and take the train home. eventhough i still drove it home after he left but if i was to get cought again either by the same cop or not it was gonna be another $110 fine. oh and also auto r33's are very rare which is why you should get mine

thanks for that dezz. lol yeah get back to me asap please coz i've got someone else waiting with the cash!

How Do I Fit 7x10" Speakers In The Back Of My R33?
R-SPEC replied to R-SPEC's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
come on guys no need to get all cut here. i obviously asked because i'm clueless when it comes to audio and never fitted any kind of speakers myself in a car. but after thinking about it and doing some searching last night on this forum on how to remove the parcel shelf i came a cross a DIY on how to make your own parcel shelf and thought it would be a good idea. i've already removed the rear seat and already have plenty of mdf boards and all the tools i need. plus i got absolutely nothing else to do so yeah... i appreciate all the opinions given. cheers -
How Do I Fit 7x10" Speakers In The Back Of My R33?
R-SPEC replied to R-SPEC's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
cool cool ok thanks guys looks like the easiest way to go would be to get these spacers. just one more question; how do i take the shelf out? i've tried un-clipping the clips from inside the boot and pulling it out from inside the car but it looks like it would break if i tried to pull harder....? i wanna do it properly coz i'm selling the car soon and i want it to look nice and neat. thanks again fellas EDIT: never mind the shelf question, did some searching and im gonna be making a new parcel shelf -
Why Are R32 Gtst's So Overpriced?
R-SPEC replied to R-SPEC's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
lol its not like i'm complaining about the prices because i want to get a 32. its just something i've noticed lately while looking at skylines for sale and thought it was a bit weird.... but yeah r32 is definately up there as an option for my next car -
What Is "slip Led Indicator" On Dashboard Means?
R-SPEC replied to SkyKC's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
its got nothing to do with your clutch. totally normal SLIP display: (active lsd fitted display) this display will show when the ignition is ON and will flash when the vehicle is traveling over a slippery area. ps. it also comes on when the car loses grip/traction. -
