from what i've read the engine/gearbox are bulletproof. parts aren't exactly cheap, it's still a 140K car (when new) but same story with m3 con - they only come in auto

Cheaper than same year m3 2 extra doors, more comfy, same straight line speed, easier and cheaper to get more power.
