how many nissans can do 250K+ and still drive like new without engine rebuilds? end of the day japs are cheap coz they are cheap. people just think they're better bang for buck coz they cost less. they cost less for a reason...

didnt say euros were better, they're just better all rounders. go on an m3 forum and see how many of em actually get their cars repaired/serviced at mechanics/dealers. just coz its euro doesnt make it any harder to work on than a jap. 100K is too much for a nissan. a 100K bmw is only just run in yes performance wise a 34 gtr would probably outperform any euro for the same price. if thats all your after then yea stick with japs.

bout 40K for one with about 100Ks. pretty similar to 34 gtrs coz one day they will be collectibles

you'd want more for your money if you were spending that much i just dont think there are any jap cars old or new that offer a good all round package. 40k i'd go a bmw e46 m3 (if you want a straight 6) or audi b6 s4 (if you want a v8)without thinking twice coz it has everything luxury, performance, looks, quality etc. if you find a jap car for less than 40K with as much spec and goodies then by all means go for it that just depends on - 1) how much of a lemon you buy 2) how useless you are with tools
