  1. Mines not useless it blows off air into the atmosphere like it suppose to work .
  2. The problem was still too much fuel the afm was dumping in due to the atmo bov. Hope this helps anyone with atmo bov and slight miss issues. Cheers
  3. its only a coulple of "poot poots" then back back through the rev range smooth into third.
  4. no i dont think so.. i was just wondering why its only ito second.. i fiddled around with the dec air settings and pulled a little fuel out of a safc via dyno... although its raining it seems alright..but will have to try in dry to know for sure. Wonering if anyones had these problems
  5. stock ecu with safc. Running the atmo blow off dec air has been tuned for no stall though??
  6. installed my new hiflow and pulls hard..but it seems to have a slight miss when flogging the piss just after i change into 2nd? Any ideas? Cheers
  7. Put some picks up ya poof, oh that right its still out the front of my house cause you havent picked it up yet. This will be a good daily or p platers car..sr20 reliabilty!
  8. Before trying anything just try gap the spark plugs down...its free and easy to do and youve got nothing to loose really. safc blah blah all cost money. I have had the spark blow out before sounds like the same story here, but cars are funny things..
  9. 3.1 mil worth... it better be!
  10. I use justin also! havent seen his new shop but.

    My New Car

Looks good man...get it dynoed c&*t ahahah.
  15. Yeah you can run it safe without tuning the std ecu will just more fuel in to compensate for the 7% or so more air going in, it usually over compensates and you will get fuel smoke on boost.. just get it tuned later down the track.
  16. I have seen Kyles work on 3 different mates cars and its nothing short of brilliant, im sorry he is the best in my eyes. I was also was lucky enough to see his rolla panelvan crack into the sub 10sec mark..insane!
  17. Take it to a dyno place and get them to load it up (the wastgate) on boost..if the readout shows a drop off of boost throughout the rev range get someone to hold the wasgate shut with there hand and do another run... if it doesnt drop boost theres your problem. Cheers Raz
  18. wastegate acutuator possibly leaking?
  19. Yeah im def thinking the tuned will help..i bought it off here but it seemed in great nick and it had 2000kms on it..ill try and see if i can see the id tags. There another little thing that got me worries which i thought was a leaking noise somewhere.. but Might not be a leaking noise after all..theres like a tinny rattle sound.. definety from the turbo side.
  20. Gary, Its an mtq item and it journal type bearing im lead to belive.
  21. ITC what is that? safc gives me, ive seen a couple of his posts..ill hit him up. Cheers.
  22. paulr33, its an older one just with the knob... nothing technical like the newer ones.
  23. So disco you say the problem cant really be solved with the rb25 hiflow on the rb20? So the hiflow cant handle the variance in ignition timing as well as a well sorted garrett item?
  24. Bubba its a hks evc.. its old school one but it hold boost fine. Yeah in thinking he will muck around with the timming and tune it leaner off boost.
  25. Its going in next week as my dyno man is currently moving his dyno into his new shop, he said he will sort me out, he is usually right.. lol. you have an rb25 im guessing? wonder what the rpm difference is usually in comparison to rb20? when were you seeing boost before and after tune. Cheers
