I always thought n/a to turbo and etc conversions were legal? You just had to take it to a qld transport and get it engineered and mod plated. Or is that not the case anymore.
-
I cant turbo my car, I come under those new laws. How does doing that void my insurance? What if i tell them about it, but just keep the insurance agreement the same.

Hey guys, I have a 1997 r33 GTS25 series 2, Towards the end of the year i am looking to make my RB25DE a rb30de. I have read http://www.geocities.com/rb30_twincam this guide but i am only 17 and not exactly sure who to go to for help and i wouldnt be able to do it myself. Im just gathering research atm 1. Where could i take my car to get this done. 2. Is this possible with my engine. 3. Where do i start with the process and how long will it roughly take from start to finish. 4. Total cost excluding labour from workshops if done at one. Any help would be great. josh.

Neons are ok i suppose. I want white underbody and interior ones, but im having a hard time tracking some down. The local rice shop autobarn doesnt have any. I have the window washer LED ones, Have them running into a toggle switch and then into the parking light wire in my steering collum, so i have them on most of the time when my lights are turned on, then if i need to turn them off i can flick a switch under my kickpanel. Gonna do the same with the neons.

Hey guys, I am trying to remove my rear wing and i am pretty screwed as how to do it. It has 4 nuts that hold it down 2 on each side and ive taken them off, then there is 2 of these clips that hold it down on each side where you slide it back and it lifts off, now thats all good but it can slide off because of the bolts sticking inside the boot stopping it from sliding off. If anyone has done this can you please help me, i want to do it without breaking anything. Sorry if you cannot understand i have pics so you know what im talking about kthx josh. Edit: Where the circles are around the 2 bolts, they are the bolts that are stoping it from sliding back and where it is circled around nothing is roughly where the clips that are holding the wing down are.

R33 Series 2 Fog Lights And Indicators.
are33 replied to are33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
thanks heaps for that, yours looks pretty good actually! do your indicators still work though? -
Hello, I was just wondering how many people's r33's have fog lights, I've been told by alot of people theirs are just dummy lights, but mine work? Also if i was to take 2 of the clear lights from another 33 and put the clear lights where the indicators are and use an orange bulb, would this work? will the clear one fit into the orange place? Ive ordered a set of clear side indicators and i wanna get rid of all the orange lights because it looks tacky haha. ive also got ahold of a clear rear SKYLINE panel as i stated in a previous thread, all i need is to get some LEDs and wire it all up. thanks for any input.

Hello. Recently ive finished installing my new stereo in my 33: Alpine: 9857 H/U 4 x Type X Splits MRV-F345 4ch amp Now i have wired everything up all nice and neatly and didnt take any shortcuts, soldered things where needed and etc, and i have tuned my amp according to my listening preferances. The problem im having is everything rattling! my parcel tray and my front doors. I have the fronts mounted factory and no sound deadening atm. I was just wondering which was the better alternative; take it to someone and get them to completly seal and sound deaden my doors, or take it to someone and get custom speaker pods built to suite the speakers. Now the back speakers, would i be better off sound deadening all the metal part of where the parcel tray sits and replacing that crappy piece of wood/cardboard with some sturdy MDF? or what could be a better alternative. Next year once i have a bit more cash ill be getting a new super plush carpet mould with full sound deadening on it so that will reduce some drivetrain/ground noise. I have spent alot of money on the system and i want top quality sound from it and im not sure what to do about this situation so any help would be great. Another thing regarding subwoofers and my boot, Next year ill be after maybe 2 type x subwoofers, and ill be sound deadening the entire boot. 1. Do i sound deaden the boot lid as well? 2. With the r33's im sure everyone knows that crappy little waste of space where the battery sits, does the piece of metal between the cabin and the boot hinder bass in the cabin, and what do people do about it? thankyou.

Hey all, as you all know the rear panel that says SKYLINE on the r33's has a clear one on the series 1 and a painted one to match the color of the car for the series 2, i was just curious if i could get rid of the series 2 one on my car and put a clear one on, because i want to install the LED lights that illuminates the SKYLINE writing, also are you allowed to use white leds for this light, or must they be red? thanks guys.

i am after a set of these for my car but they only make them for GTS-T's =[ i COULD put the GTS-T ones in my car, but that is major wank factor concidering it will have the turbo gauge there... and no needle... if anyone comes accross any for a GTS please pm me. kthx josh

For the headlights on, Im 90% sure its the red with the blue stripe wire, As all of the lighting wires ive worked with on my car have been this color.. there is one in the cluster of wires that goes into that box in the link i sent... Im not sure how to pull the wire out though.. its differant to the other wirres.
