its for the door only... but im pretty sure the lights wire will be connected to the same box, I wrote that article on my boost cruising account, I found it by trial and error, Just removing a lug then putting the key in the ignition, and seeing if it still beeped, Until i found the wire which it didnt... Do the same except with the lights Ill actually go do this now.. Ill tell you how i go.

Alright sounds good, Ill throw the stock BOV back on as well just to be sure, if it stops ill put the one he as on now back on and see how it goes. Thanks for your help.

It happens around 4 1/2 - 5k revs, it stops when you back off. it just jerks the car around, its like it cuts out and the car jerks forward then it kicks back in and take off and then stops again and jerks the whole car forward and the only way is to back off the accel all together... its pretty scary when it happens when you dont expect it.. on the odd occasion it happened when the turbo was just spooling (in my parents 33)

I see.. Alright ill see how that goes.. Its just weird because my parents used to own a 33 gtst on 14 pounds on the stock turbo, stock ECU with a 60- 40% plumb back BOV the GFB hybrid one, And the same thing happened with that... The mechanic which worked on it (owners of the old hardcore racing in brisbane) said that it was boost cut :S Weird. maybe its just a nickname or something.

21 psi on a stock ceramic turbo and stock ecu? wtfark. I think it is? When he gets up it a bit the BOV goes off like a slart and and the car jerks and shudders and it feels like the turbo actually is cutting in and out.. he is running around 14 psi. All he has is pod filter, FMIC, Exhaust system and a bov. not sure of the brands.

Are you allowed to use white LED/neons to illuminate this? Or is that against the law does it have to be red.

I overlooked it... It said ABS lol dont ask me how i got HICAS from abs but i just did... The one thing that puzzles me is on my fusebox in the boot it says HICAS as the 2nd fuse from the bottom... Maybe its just the universal cover they make for all fusbox's on r33's. I suppose not having it is a good thing.. Most people dont like it? Also what did i save $150 for. lol sorry.

Well it turns out i was wrong. There is A. No hicas light. And B. nothing that remotely looked like hicas under my car :S I actually have no idea. Ill post some pictures of my diff and suspension and let you guys be the judge. Just got back from looking over the car.. In my fuse box in the boot there is a fuse for hicas but im not sure if the box they made to cover the box is a standard for all skylines or just for GTS's... And i also found a weird box with heaps of wires comming out of it lol. Pics attached.

Hey guys got a 2 part question for you, I was just curious on which was the best brand of pod filter on the market at the moment. And.. I was thinking that leaving the pod filter in the engine bay is A. Illegal, And B it is just sucking in hot engine air... I have heard bad storys about pod filters mounted under the car or in the front bar i.e losing throttle response etc. So i got thinking.. If i make a fully enclosed box for the pod filter made out of polished aluminium or something of the sort.. And cut a hole in the popped in circle where the intercooler piping would be if it was a turbo, And run some piping down into the front bar. What are your opinions on this and would this be a good move performance wise? Would the air flow be adequate enough for the pod filter to function properly? Thanks in advance.

Hey thanks guys.. Obviously nissan fast was wrong because i have hicas Found it in the dash AND there was a fuse for the hicas in the fusebox... Maybe the last owners put the nismo suspension on it? Im the first owner in the country so... the whole car is a foot off the air as well... Which made me think that it was stock 4X4 spec

Hey everyone.. Ive recently purchased a 1997 series 2 r33 GTS... And when i bought it i was in the understanding that it had stock suspension.. but after close inspection of the car it has NISMO motorsports suspsension on it.. Is this stock with all skylines? Or just the GTS's? And another thing.. I was sure that ALL skylines came out with HICAS.. But my nissan fast results tell me i have IRS? Any comments would be great thankyou..

I come under these new laws in QLD next year.. And i actually agree with them.. There IS some of us out there that dont act like idiots EVERYTIME we go out in a car... Some people respect and care for theyre vehicle.. But yet again its the small minority that have wrecked it for the people that want to do the right thing, And have a nice car, And not some proton or excel or commonwhore... I will be pissed off if qld review these laws and cancel them from comming into effect.. I just bought a non turbo r33 today A quick fix soloution will work for a short time but like everything it will only just get worse with time.. I agree with everyone on here.. The government needs to stop the problem before it starts by showing the consequences of actling like a dickhead on the road and teach us how to react in an emergency. My parents are putting me through all those defensive driving courses.. And i really dont mind though i cant wait to take my car out there . Yet again though everyone else is right.. It comes down to the responsibility of the driver... Its ok do you some stupid things like a burnout or something maybe a few times and get over it... But if you wanna speed or throw your car sideways arounda corner.. Its not to hard to run up to willowbank raceway or QR on a test and tune and have a good time then
