Hi guys, dropping in from 300zx forum.... I don't post here alot but please feel free to check me out on aus300zx.com. I am in the process of buying a business and am looking for staff. As the business operates seven days I am looking for casual and full time staff who are available for training and work as of November. Mobile battery testing/fitting in the Hornsby area for a well known Road Service provider. The job would suit a "car" person who is able to work independantly and is available to work a flexible roster. You must be well presented, honest, and reliable. All training (including MVRIA license) and equipment is provided and no formal qualifications are needed. That said a hands on interest in cars is a must. Please shoot me a PM if this sounds likle you, or post any general questions in this thread. Good money and steady, flexible work for the right person.

This got linked to over on aus300 -haven't read the whole thread so apologies if this has already been covered. My guess is they are coming back for the car. They have your mates address (from his license), and they've had a good look in the cabin and under the hood. Watch out.

Just a heads up guys, I'm running a group buy on turbosmart regs over at aus300zx.com and hoping some of you guys might be interested. You can see the other thread here http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=275639. There are two regs available FPR 800, $245 1/8 NPT fittings 30-70 PSI base pressure adjustments 1:1 ratio Available in standard colour scheme (blue/polished) or black sleeper series This kit will include fuel reg, fittings suitable to use this reg with an OEM skyline fuel rail, and a bonus fuel pressure gauge. All regs are supplied with mounting bracket, vacuum fitting and gauge port blank. Liquid-filled, fuel pressure gauge. Features stainless steel body and a 1/8 NPT fitting. Pressure range: 0-100psi (0-7 Bar). FPR 1200, $280 Special internals to handle all types of race fuels 2 x AN -6 inlet ports 30-70 PSI base pressure adjustments 1:1 ratio Available in standard colour scheme or sleeper series (pictured) This reg will be supplied with mounting bracket, vacuum fitting, gauge port blank, and a bonus fuel pressure gauge. Supplier: Unique Auto Sports www.300zx.com.au Price: $245 for FPR800, $280 for FPR1200 How to Order: To place your order I will need a 50% deposit (PM for deatails), with the balance payable when your order is ready to despatch. Timeline: I will leave this group buy open until friday June 13th, and estimate the orders will be ready to despatch by the end of June. Conditions: Couldn't be without the fine print.... Pretty straightforward stuff guys and remember the rules keep things simple for the supplier, which keeps the parts cheaper for the customer (us). *All orders must be finalised within two weeks of being adcised your order is ready to send. Failure to complete within this timeframe will forfeit your deposit and your reg will be sold for the outstanding amount. *Timeframe for delivery given above is an estimate only and does not form a condition of the group buy. *All advice and information will be provided, but ultimately it is the customer's job to ensure that the part you order is suitable for your application.

Hope this is in the right place.... I need a larger turbo inlet flange made up for a GT2871RS turbo. Can anyone reccomend a fabricator in Sydney who might be able to do this?
-
Cats are all gone guys. I have emailed receipts to Mark0, Anto, and Tomei_32. Anyone else who wants a receipt please PM me your full name and email address. Thanks!
-
Info On Warranties OK guys checked it out and I can issue individual receipts for warranty purposes. Can you please PM me your full name and an email address if you want a receipt. Thanks!
-
I can do that but it won't be much use as the invoice is made out to me. I will ask the supplier for their advice on this one.
-
Good to see they are showing up! Fair question re warranty. I didn't send out individual invoices as I only have one invoice to cover the purchase of 17 cats.... Everyone involved has my phone number, get in touch either by phone or forum if you need to make a warranty claim.
-
Most left wednesday 21/11 but yours left friday 23/11 as I ran out of tape on the first lot. All were sent from Sydney 2074 via registered post
-
Hi guys just calrifying that all 3.5" cats have been sent except for tizzle as I'm still waiting for an address. I have one extra if anyone wants it
-
Have sent an email to clarify -never heard of a reduced cost warranty but I've asked them just to be sure.
-
Hi mate sent you a PM. Honestly I don't know what difference it will make on a dyno compared to open pipe, I would be very interested to see actually. Need the money ASAP as once they land in AUS they'll be sent out to me and I won't be able to add to the order.
-
Yep they are the legit metalcat brand imported by PSI Australia. The ones with warranty... I have organised two group buys on these (close to fifty cats in total) and have yet to hear of any problems. I've been using them on my own car (300zxTT) for around two years without issue.
-
Update -had an email from PSI these are due next week. There are only 50 of these coming in for the whole of AUS and then no more. If you want one please get your money in ASAP while I can still add to my order. So far I have only received payment from TTOMIE
-
Hi mate, no not in AUS yet they were ordered a couple of weeks ago. Don't know when they will land but they are coming via air-freight so no big delays there, just a matter of customs doing their thing... As soon as I have them I will send yours out.
-
Also just to clarify there is no minimum number needed for this group buy as I alreayd have the required number of orders from the aus300zx.com forum. This is just a chance to add to that order.

Five spots left ppl
-
Can do mate -send me a PM for bank details.
-
Yeah can do, not 100% sure why but have seen it hundreds of times before. If you want to do a basic test you can perform a "voltage drop" test by measuring (with a multi-metre) what the voltage at the battery drops to while you are cranking the motor. Most healthy batteries will hold 10v or more, if yours is dropping below 9v then it is definately shot.
-
Can you get a better picture? I can't see much from the one in your post... Don't have a skyline myself (I drive a Z32) but I change maybe 5000 batteries a year and maybe 1000 terminals for work so might be able to help you out.

Thanks
