  1. Sure, I'm going to Autobacs soon anyway, I'll check it out!
  2. Sure thing- I'll keep an eye out for one! Is there a particular design you were after?
  3. Heck yeah- those are literally sold in the convenience stores over here!

  5. Thanks guys- will do! I probably won't get a chance till next weekend, so just in the meantime- is running it as it is now detrimental or unsafe? Either for the car, performance or the engine?
  6. Hi all, My apologies if this has already been posted, but i failed to find it in a search. I've just had a split dump pipe (Flying Performance) installed today by my dad (thanks dad!) and myself. One thing that seems mildly concerning is it seems as though after a 45 minute drive, the engine bay is hotter than usual- particularly the area close to the turbo. I've got a Series 2 R33 GTS-T. The only other mods are the $22 boost controller (dialed in at approx 9 PSI), Catco 3" hi-flow cat (came with car), 3" catback exhaust. It doesn't appear that any coolant levels have dropped, and performance is fantastic (much smoother power delivery and rev's)- i'm just concerned about the temperature. The stock temperature guage didn't go any higher than just about the middle. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
  7. Fantastic seller, PM'd for sideskirts- picked up same day for excellent price.

  8. Hey Guys, Sorry if these are questions that have already been covered in detail, but i've done a few searches and would just really like to be sure of a few things before i kill my turbo! I'm using the stock boost guage for the 33gts-t, and i've searched the forum regarding the readings on it, but i was wondering if you could tell me approximately what PSI i'm boosting at if the indicator is hovering about halfway between the middle marking and 0 on the +7 side to save me guesstimating it? Also, I'm rather worried about recieving an inaccurate reading from the stock guage based on all your advice and i'll be replacing it soon, but i don't want to kill my turbo before that! Is there a chance that i could be running well over what the reading is? Or is it fairly reliable and accurate to the 14 or so PSI that it can display? I guess the second question is- is it safe for me to be running that PSI on the stock series 2 turbo? How much will it be shortening the lifespan of the turbo by? I'm running a completely stock engine with stock intercooler- and after driving from my place to the city (around an hour), i've noticed the outside panels of the car around the front left wheel well were pretty darn hot. Is this normal? Cheers guys! I appreciate your help! Sorry again if these have all been answered!
  9. I was just searching the forums for an answer to this as well! I just bought a "new" 1997 r33 s2 and found this switch and i have no idea what it does? Switching it on and off seems not to do much at all, although on one occasion it seemed to turn off one of my main headlights and leave the other half on while the fog and parking lights were on? This could be attributed to something else though. Could it at all be connected to the fact that only the two outer stove burners come on when i turn on my headlights at night? Changing the position of the switch doesn't seem to affect this, though. Any Suggestions would be appreciated! This has me mystified!
  10. WD-40 always worked well for me, it dissolves the bonding element or something i think. I've used it on clothes before without leaving a mark.
