Yes its ADM SR20 so final drive ratio is 3.692, 4th is maxing out @ 210-220kph. Due to brake issue I was also trying to be smoother from a bit earlier so might as well hold on to 4th along both straights. Also boost/torque curve is not really ramping up till 3.5kr so don't like dropping below 4k unless you had a long corner exit where you have the choice for higher gear spooling up. Looking at an LSD so just need to recheck speed/5th gear rpm at PI before determining if I go to hassle of changing a final drive, speedo reset, higher rpm cruise to non melbourne events etc, sits on just over 3000r @ 110kph

it isn't a cheap option, I only have the nistune so no readout on pings etc. Glenn just mentioned P100 might be a good option for track work.

I'm in. BTW anyone had availability/issues with 100 octane fuel from the United in San Remo? Car is tuned using 98 so thinking of filling up on the way with P100 for an extra safety margin at the track.

SAU certainly does well at the top of the timesheets but not everyone can lap in the teens, this is my best effort from the day Enjoyable day, if a bit rushed between sessions due to only 4 groups. Unfortunately the only breaks to proceedings were due to some offs.

So Rnd 4 is with WRX later in the month, not AROCA? Just noticed AROCA $200 early bird pricing ended yesterday and woudn't want to get stung with their last minute pricing $250. Quite like the idea discounted entries to get people in early.

Mine have 1 piece rotors, track pads, when driving gently on the street, I can get squeals etc, try the odd harder braking, mates the surfaces? works for me in this scenario.

Look there are some semi slick style tread patterned summer/high performance street tyres, do you also want an "R" racing compound semi that is also street legal? see tyre bit of http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/416539-2013-sau-vic-motorsport-championship/ I must admit that I'm looking for 2nd hand R type semi slick(web searches and ringing around the dealers who specialise in motorsport tyres), because I only have one set of rims and wish to determine what size rims I'll get for 2nd set, I want to check out a set of R types on current rims before I determine if 2nd set will be wider etc As I've only one set of rims why pay $500 per tyre to waste rubber/heat cycles on street driving between events. 2nd hand tyres should see me through enough events to make a decision. If I find a good shop I can PM you. FYI I've been runnings Yoko AD08s for a couple of years, 15-20 events, see youtube in sig. They last a track sprint session without going squish(others say same of 595rsr), most high performance street tyres don't.
