  1. That was assumed, you'd pay to actually attend. 22 entries as of yesterday. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9D31n1dqlKmWFVvOVBzYnVrMVE/edit?usp=sharing&pli=1
  2. Certainly sounds like if you want 6 points, you just need to pay the entrance fee.
  3. Been waiting for the entry list prior to putting a entry in (closes 5pm tomorrow) - in the end my car decided for me, replacing the clutch.
  4. With no WRX entry list up, who is going? Lack of entries could mean a few more runs for the price hike but less social? Do I head to DECA instead.....
  5. Has scrutineering ever stopped anyone and asked them to unbolt/remove a dodgy cage? They seem to be struggling with extinguisher dates.
  6. um, $115, considering changing my tune, shame the Maserati at Sandown is Friday
  7. Got to pull my finger out, if I'm going to get down to those times and join the fun. BTW what is the background to when you played follow my leader and came off at 4 too early?
  8. to add to Jarrod's comments, it's the track undulations that make it a different experience, plus if you're not tinkering between runs, there is the soche at the top of hill, looking down on other runs - you get to see nearly all the action.
  9. Replace the karting challange next year anyone?
  10. Okay so it's not 1:47 but I was very happy with the day, bit of my footage from the day.
  11. Some Datto though. BTW did a bit of 911 munching myself, my wife informed me that it would probably have been a geriatric driving - nice! Thanks goes out to the crews that make these events happen, special mention to Nick Luxton who fixed my suspension at the start of day, which meant I got to enjoy one hell of a day.
  12. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9D31n1dqlKmbFBqR21xMHRlZFE/edit
  13. Any idea on numbers, haven't seen a list of entrants?
  14. I still entered, just hoping the hot rod/customs last weekend didn't drop any oil. Pit area was chokers with some awesome cars and some were parading round the track.
  15. Wow $240 for a 75db day, whereas the VSSC day is $215 for a 95db day (if you enter two weeks prior) Hi Martin, for next few events, might want to add a note on front page highlighting that WRX will send entry details with disclaimer and scrutineering sheet to be completed by entrant.
  16. Entry seems to be a bit of a late publish - anyone know if it's up within WRX club members section? 10Feb PIARC day has already been openned?
  17. It was warm, family day, I wasn't really bothering but no harm in having racechrono running in the background - I was 4 secs slower. Also I believe the R32's 1:14 was another day, I loved my ride with Paul (silkgod), it's days like this where you get that chance, brutally fast, the rest of the world is in slo-mo. Note they put him in that group and I observed someone who knew what he was doing and what kind of day it was - I was in for his last session, at line up, first time that day, stewards mention if he was to go out again, maybe step in to group 1.
  18. Doh, one time my misses comes down, plus actually gets in the car - go pro was set to ONF so missed capturing her asking me to slow down on the warm up lap! Wife/son loved the event so big thanks to the organisers for risking/organising a different type of day. Didn't get much time to talk as i was loving the chance to ride with others, experience 4 wheel power down etc - highlight has to be ride with Silkgod - Paul it was awesome even at 80%, thanks.
  19. Didn't it piss down on the 2nd day - wonder how much it impacted them. Any how, roll on Feb.
  20. not so good for turbos but good for social/drinks @ Belgium
  21. :-) I went from stock to 8/6 BC's and they are rock hard, adjusting them from hard to full soft is like diamond vs granite, mines a track car, if it was street only they'd be straight out.
  22. Northcote and generally drop by monthly meets. Don't stress about track days, some minor things already discussed. Your first few times are more about getting you sorted than worrying about the car. I had full length cotton clothing helmet, extinguisher and borrowed some blue duct tape. Once hooked you'll have plenty of ideas on how to blow money.
  23. so finished your studies of the Wakefield track
  24. Well I was hoping to drive over the Alps but due to early evening rego, will leave around 11am after my lads swimming lesson(never been before due to work). Will see if I have energy to do the Alps on way home!
  25. Have they entered this at the Nationals? http://www.bbc.co.uk...nology-20165345
