Hey, Im after a rb26 block that has had no modifications done to it. If it has blown it must not have been caused by bearing failure. Im wanting to buy fairly urgently and from a seller in Brisbane or close to it. Thanks

DONT GO TO GCCS!!!!! if im not mistaken that pic chris posted is from my old gts-t if its not it looks very similar to the pathetic work they did to my old maroon 32...... if i were to go any where to get audio installed(and turbo timer/alarms) i would go to audio express from personal experience chris does a fantastic job and i plan on taken my gtr to him to get some things done to it soon as its back on the road. i had a alpine dvd touch screen head unit and 2x alpine speakers and amp installed into my car at gccs the speakers after driven a bit rattled they dident build a box to mount the speakers in so if i put things in my door they would slide down strait into where the speakers are. my head unit had a gap above it between where the a/c din is and the top of the unit which it works fine but had a ugly gap and just before i sold my gts-t the head unit stopped working for no apparent reason so i took it out just to find the head unit wasn't even mounted properly the screws were half screwed in and on angles. Some people may have had a better experience then me but i even knew 1 of the guys that put my sound system in so i was expecting a lot better job then from a complete stranger. i would not recommend them at all... talk to Chris at audio express im sure he will do a bang up job and most likly cheaper then what gccs charges as well. that pic chris uploaded is a good example. thats my gccs rage enjoy

Hey, Im after a stock internal rb26. Blown or going i don't care, if it is dead it must have died from piston failure or something other then a bearing. If u have a rb26 bottom end with crank im also interested although it must be standard no internal mods. thanks

Hey, i have a r32 gtr with a r33 rb26 thats fully worked that was rebuilt no more then 20 thousand ks ago. i was driving it home 2 days ago and just as i drove in my drive way it started making a ticking/knocking noise. does this sound like a spun bearing?? if so what could have caused this so soon after a rebuild? i got it compression tested 2 weeks ago and came back perfect then this happens?? my race bred sounds like a tractor... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Nwp-Cl0Pq3o

a mate of mine got done with this same issue just after serving a 6 month suspension. there was a cop on 1 side of the intersection and seen him go through and booked him i think 3 points for it he took it to court and won his argument was that he only just got his license back and the light just changed as he approached the stop line which would have been unsafe and could have caused a accident for the people behind him if he did go on the brakes heavily. i think it comes down to if u have the time to take the time off work to go to court just make up a story as it would be unsafe to stop in a hurry but if the light was yellow for a bit and u knocked it back a gear and floor it to make it through i think you would have very little chance with a court order being successful.
