  1. OK the KPGC10 gets my vote! it sounds pretty unhealthy on overrun or low revs but boy does it howl at WOT!
  2. I have a Jan '90 R32 with no pink/orange comp plates.
  3. My mates' boss is taking him to Power Cruise.. lucky bastard!
  4. I have a soft spot for the old aircooled flat sixes.. makes me moist. Also that yellow JUN supra sounds insane!
  5. I've conned my old boy into buying me an ebc as a belated birthday present but he doesn't want to order it over the net, he wants to be able to walk to a shop and buy one. So my question is, are there stores around Perth other than the normal tuning shops that carry these sorts of things? if not I'll ring some of the tuning shops and see what they can do.
  6. My mate is ditching his RB30DETT for a HKS 2.8L and asked me to find a part number for him Edit: CruiseLiner.. where did you get the block from and how long ago? he's just told me Nissan is sold out and don't make them anymore?0_o
  7. Cheers dude Edit: found it in FAST, it's 11000-24U00 (eleven thousand-twentyfour U zero zero)
  8. Nice one, I replied but I don't think the other guy will
  9. Catchcans are just a bandaid for tired engines with a bit of blowby.. kinda like my ol' rb20 Edit: 40th.. I just used a larger radius for the bend or you could try ENZED or something to get some elbows
  10. As the topic suggests, I am after the Nissan part number for a new N1 block.. I have tried using FAST to find it but my fasting skills are lacking somewhat Cheers!
  11. Sounds fun! the turbo/manifold/gate should bolt easily onto a 25 and the supporting mods such as exhaust/fmic/fuelpump/ebc are done so all you would need is an RB25/ecu and it would be even MORE fun! Oh and maybe some injectors depending on how hard you want to lean on it
  12. What kinda of drafting do you do newbie?
  13. Not exactly a world circuit, but seeing as the project we are doing is in Geraldton and there is a prospect of my going to site for an extended period, I was having a look around Geraldton on GoogleEarth.. to the east of the airport in Gerro there is a dirt oval and a tarmac track O_o I also found a burnout in a carpark in Geraldton that someone posted in GoogleEarth *smirk*
  14. If there is no breather OR it doesnt breath back to the intake pipe, crankcase pressure will throw oil out of the dipstick. When I got my car, there was a hose from the intake manifold > inlet rocker cover blocked off. There was then 2 hoses going from each rocker cover to the catchcan with no breather. The engine was throwing HEAPS of oil out of the exhaust, I reconnected the hose from intake manifold to inlet rocker cover and it stopped throwing it out the exhaust, instead it started trying to throw it out the dipstick. It was abotu then that I realised it wasn't breathing.. so yes there are wrong ways to hook them up
  15. As long as there is a breather pipe going back to the intake pipe there's no dramas, the tool that put a can in my car before I got it had it all wrong and it pumped heaps of oil out the exhaust. Would work better inline with the breather pipe though (i.e. inlet side of the rocker cover > exhaust side > catchcan > intake pipe)
  16. sounds pretty big.. i get 13psi through my stock 20 turbo by 3500rpm, stock is reasonably laggy as it is.. taking gaps in traffic is chewing my tyres is the engine stock internally? coz the turbo would probably go well on a 25 when the 20 dies
  17. Not sure what Nissan's stance is regarding Skylines and ethanol, but ethanol likes to eat certain rubbers. Those with completely upgraded fuel systems should be fine.
  18. I concur that all R32 RB20s are the ECCS silvertop version, I can FAST the VIN for you if you want and tell you what the car came out of the factory with.
  19. Old thread I know, but wondering if anyone has a part number for an N1 block? or if anyone with an N1 can post me their VIN so I can look up the part number on FAST. Better yet, if anyone knows how to search fast properly and can tell me how to find model specific part numbers without a VIN, it would be greatly appreciated Cheers.
  20. Are you thinking of Roll Right tyres in Balcatta?
  21. Is that 9am or 9pm?O_o
  22. Street slicks aren't that great.. we put some on my mates car and for driving around they are useless. They really need to be warmed up before they work well.. we want to see if it will pick the front wheels up on the street
  23. Most things suck on power with stock turbos..
