Hi All, My aplogies for not having processed any refunds as yet, I was recently defected so it has thrown my finances out the window for this week, will be working on it to mark a start. Thanks for your patience.

Hey all some input on this would be great! Over the weekend I was pulled over by some highway hog on the Hume Hwy. I was told that he pulled me over because he could hear my exhaust and thought it was too loud (aka needed to make his quota for the weekend). I was defected for: My ride height Air pod without shroud (oops) Atmospheric BOV Exhaust being too 'loud' under the Environment Protection Act 2000 clause 18. I'll admit to the first 3 being my fault as my Engineering Cert states that the pod has the shroud. But the thing that is getting me, is that my exhaust has been fully engineered in accordance with the ADR 28 laws which is incorporated with the Environment Protection Act Clause 18. Which includes my decibel reading of 88db (the limit for cars is 90db), the angle at which the sound was measured, how many RPM, a diagram drawn etc. The officer then informed me that my Engineering Cert was null and void due to further modifications after issue. The top 3 yes, but not the exhaust! Can anyone offer some advice with this please, i'm looking at contesting this and fighting my fines for this reason, unless I am wrong of course. But isn't the reason we spend so much money on acquiring the Cert's is so we can cover our butts?

I'm a green p-plater was well (not for much longer yay!) and drive a worked gts-t. Like what most of you have been saying, I was lucky enough to get my p's before the cut off date and restrictions came in. I have to say they are a good thing and a bad thing, when you're doing your allowed 100km/h along the 110km/h highway and some idiot fully licenced driver speeding and almost take off your ass end because he's too stupid to notice your P's on your car, I feel a little safer knowing I have that extra power to avoide a potentially dangerous situation, also with merging on highways you can get up to speed a sh*tload faster. *Touches wood* I haven't had any troubles with cops so far and hope I don't any time soon. It's a shame that the rest of you get picked on

With the way you guys are acting it'll be only a matter of time before Shell blocks this thread too... IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD BE REFUNDING IT RIGHT NOW, BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY. I love the way people over look others' errors/law breaking and still continue to point the finger at the one who is trying to help resolve the situation. So as you are all worried about being $25 out of pocket Daniel could be 11 times more then that, just to keep you all from harrassing me. I never thought that trying to be nice and organise something would be so much trouble. I can not believe the childish behaviour and the immature acts that people go to over $25 but i guess i expected to much. The rest is in your hands to get your deposits back.

For starters... The deposits still have not hit my account for the refund so how on earth am I supposed to refund something I don't have? Secondly, I have not received one damn PM from anyone until now (thankyou John and Jayce). Also, I asked people to PM me their bank deatils for the deposits to be returned, this was not done. I do not take kindly to threats of any sort and find it rather disturbing that John was able to access personal information from Ministry of Paintball before I even knew about it myself. Considering Daniel was the only authorised person to access that account it makes me wonder how John can acquire such personal information without a certain amount of dodgieness added. If you have PM'd Daniel I assume you forgot he de-registered from the forum because of the sh*t that happened. It p*sses me off that a few of you have acted in such a childish way over 25 f*cking dollars. I had been hounding the paintball place for weeks to hurry up this refund. They advised me the manager had finally done the transaction and I am now playing a waiting game for the funds to clear. I appreciate the fact that you SAUers have been patient for the refund but as I said before, how do I refund something I still DO NOT HAVE. I cannot give you a time frame for when yet, but will post as soon as the funds clear in my account.

Mick, what you said was completely uncalled for. People who paid their deposits are not the only ones out of pocket right now... Still waiting on the refund, I keep getting stuffed around with the manager there who says it'll be in my account by lunch and 2 days later still nothing! I ring back and no one else can help me because the manager is not there and he is the only one who can authorise the refund. I'm doing the best I can, if I didn't want to get people their money back why the hell would I still be trying to organise a refund from Sydney! also, why would I show up to the car show with Daniel if all we wanted to do was take your money and run? Also Andrew, the name calling and immaturity has got to stop. This is a public forum keep personal stuff off it, I have learnt my lesson from previous lapses of maturity, this is not the place to do it, especially when they don't even have a chance to defend themselves on here and they left the forums to stop personal attacks and grief so you need to do the same. This is not a place to have a b!tch about people and things that did not go your or anyone else's way, it is for car enthusiasts and Skyline lovers. Good luck with getting a reply Cejay, it took me almost a week just to book us a car spot! The show doesn't open to the public until 10am so I think cars arrive at 9am... So let's meet up at 8.15-8.30am crusing out at 8.45 or a little before. Don't forget, I am making a banner he he just because this will be my last dealing with the ACT SAU!

To all those who are attending just letting you know that Emily will not be there. You all will be paying full price for the day as I (Daniel) have the tickets and they are in MY name. I was going to be refunding you all once the refund was back but people interfered even consider out of my own money until the personal attacks. I have been trying to organise this day for 4 months and have been constantly stuffed around so I gave up and decided to cancel the reason why I stated there were no refunds was just incase I couldn't get the money back. Now what has happened is someone illegally has accessed the account and changed all the details ruining it for you all seeing as you will now be paying full price unless I can fix it and get you all your money back and if John wants to talk about refunds then well i will need back $150 as I paid for alot of the places out of my own money to bring friends and fill the blank spots. So it would be in everyones best interest for John to stop interferring and let me get everyones money back (which you all would of recieved over the next week or 2). I do not know about an official assembly point so if everyone can get to the museum by 8.30 for a cruise out by say 8.45 at the latest we should be right. From the look of it we should be one of the largest groups there so lets hope we are. Of course you are welcome stinkypoo the more the merrier. So polish them up people.
