  1. M35 master cylinder not keeping up with R34 brakes? It keeps up fine with my Z34 Akebono's so perhaps yours was on its way out?
  2. Is the o2 sensor on a bend by any chance?
  3. Absolutely, but i don't think they sound bad at all although much is lost on TV. If you can get to the track and park yourself at the entrance to a tight corner, the sound of everything winding down is awesome. Was also very nice to only have to raise my voice to talk when they go past, not to mention the omission of ear buds. Not as nice compared V8's or V10's on TV, but the new engines are more enjoyable trackside IMO
  4. Looks nice Dale..... *Waits for blacked out headlights
  5. Generally, that is the order of occurrence with failures. One moment things are fine, the next everything turns to shit. EDIT: couple of seconds too slow I guess...
  6. For reference, here is a picture of my PNM35 with 245/40 R19's. Don't think they could reasonably be called "big, fat, ugly tyres", but we all have different perspectives I guess. Also should mention that the speedo is more accurate with this sized rolling diameter (104kph displayed in speedo when actually travelling at 100kph - measured via GPS)
  7. Not really a Volvo reference, but leaving work Thursday night and as I unlock my car to jump in, a Maori co-workers says "That your car bro? Ha! and I thought it was a hearse ay!" Response was brief. "Yep, it's particularly good at transporting smart mouth Kiwi carcasses.". He shut up pretty quick and speedily left the carpark in his POS Rav4.
  8. Pic of the tread for reference? I was rolling around on snow tyres which were quite loud although quite effective on the local dirt roads
  9. They will fit although I'd personally look at a higher sidewall. 40's for 19" rims almost perfectly corrects the speedo at 100kph, not to mention filling out those massive wheel arches a bit more. 30's will have your speedo reading quite high and will look too small.
  10. Needs the other front bar back on first, this one is the aero-less spare that I modified in my non-pro plasti-welding fashion Planning to chuck on some headers and my decat pipes... but I plan to install hydrogen injection prior to that for a number of reasons, one of which is a reduction in emissions/smell due to a lack of cats. Still have quite a list of planned changes after those (quite a list actually) so will see how we go...
  11. Finally took a pick with the Akebono's on. Nice to fill out those rims Getting there slowly, bit by bit. Need the other front bar & spoiler fixed & modified next I think, then back to under the bonnet stuff
  12. +1. Also, need them because they feel/perform soooo much better than stock or the 350z Brembos
  13. Yeah, he had a Nissan sports exhaust. Legalis may flow slightly better looking at the exit of the uffler to the tips - each tip comes from its own hole in the muffler as opposed to the Nismo which has one hole for the two tips, BUT what is the radius of the hole/holes? Is the Nismo single hole actually a larger area than the two Legalis holes combined? Also, since the piping is the same, it all comes down to the design of the baffling within the muffler, and ripping open a Nismo muffler that can no longer be replaced does not appeal. You could of course get their flow measured if you really wanted, but I like the Nismo for the tip design and the sound which has more character than the Legalis IMO. Can't go wrong with either though.
  14. Check some of the vids on my Youtube channel. Fijutsubo Legalis - on my old NM35 Nismo (version 1 for M35) - on my old NM35 Nismo (version 2 for M35) - on my PNM35 with stock cats and with aftermarket cats Legalis will flow more than the Nismo that Brick has (my old one) as it is 76mm as opposed to the 70mm Nismo. Alex, Iain never had a Nismo exhaust.
  15. That would be mine
  16. Under the elbow rest in the storage compartment
  17. This, although I did miss it initially, I don't miss the wallet randomly falling out and sliding down around my feet.
  18. Yes, those two are different but what I am saying is that the S2 ARX has the same rear bumer as the S1 ARX as you can see in the link below http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/NISSAN/STAGEA/700123019430131225002/index.html S1 Axis and S2 Axis also share the same rear bumper. I guess you could put a S2 RX or Axis S rear bumper on and have extra bulges added so that it matches up with the flares on your ARX.
  19. So bloody large because I am bypassing the radiator... plus it fit perfectly under the reo leaving a heap of room behind for future mods (although the thermostat did take up a little more than I expected). Wheels I have been slowly collecting over the past 2 years and would grab one or two when they came up on Yahoo for a reasonable price. The pics don't do the wheels justice and make them look dull and lifeless due to the shade.
  20. No need for a swirl tank if you have the cooling mod. It really is a DIY mod, just takes a little time
  21. The S2 has the same mounts as the S1 for the rear bumper Erop, but aren't they the same item? My rear bumper is off the RX so it won't look great due to the flares on the ARX. The Axis rear bumper should fit up on an ARX pretty nicely.
  22. Cooling mod is much more effective than the swirl pot. I have run both, swirl pot was mounted on the front of the engine (amazing how high it can sit without fouling on the bonnet) and currently have the cooling mod.
  23. Two most recent additions after exercising quite a bit of patience... New trans cooler Cooler is a replacement RX7 oil cooler. Thermostat is made by Hayden and allows for a flooded system, so no pressure loss when the thermostat opens. New wheels Been waiting to complete the set of these for a while. They are a full set of the fronts from the 370z Nismo edition. 19 x 9.5 +40 with 10mm spacers to ensure no rubbing
  24. 245/40/19's have the speedo displaying 104 when travelling at 100kph (tested via Torque's GPS speedo).
  25. Do a search for the user "spoolin12". He was the previous owner that did all of the modifications
