Yeup! That thayre i mai bruther's, waiif's, seester's, little boy's, daddy's brother's truuk. She ain't a beauty. She be need'n dem smokie stacks! Yep, many ute's in the Pakenham are with Smoke stacks. From HSV Maloo's to F250's. If that was not enough, they also have those ghey yellow lights on aluminium side skirts and 4x RM Williams jumbo sized mud flaps. Really horribly terrible. (and no, they don't get pulled over either). Yeah, but the police NEVER pull over country boys in Pakenham... Imports and clapped out Falcodores on the other hand Not upset I moved.

Wtb: M35 Aftermarket Front Bar
iamhe77 replied to Obelisk's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I think that RBPOWA is pointing out the similarities between the Dogong's snout and the Impul front bar... The colour helps the comparison also! Good call TJ! -
Have you had the transmission issues diagnosed yet? Price quoted? I believe that Ryan was going to organise something for next month. Dunno what yet, but I am good to go unless it is the weekend of the 21st-22nd...
-
Hmmm.... may be more effective than paper... Not very creative though.

I think you just described ~80% of R33 GTST drivers in Dandenong. Commo incident? Pulling out of North Rd onto McClelland Drv in Langwarrin, before the lights were put in, powder Blue VH (the almighty 3.3L) P plater pushed too hard on the loud pedal , lost the rear end , found himself heading down the road towards oncoming traffic (just after 9am on a weekday), yanked on the wheel and slid onto the emergency gravel strip sideways but out of the way of traffic . I only had my license for 1 day. That intersection was a bitch & I had not undergone much driving at that point - let alone "advanced training". Surprised the hell out of me and was the most embarrassing moment of my life (I don't get embarrassed easily).
-
TJ, is this really the place to describe your bedroom antics!
-
Can't help with the lip, sorry. But do you have raised suspension? That is some interesting camber for the rear.
-
heh. Sounds like a fun place to work.

Do you usually get out of your car without your keys? With the engine running? Anyway, what about the tried and true deflation of all 4 tyres on both the Kluger and the Honda?
-
Agreed... But that would require common sense, something that the majority of our populace is missing (or choose to ignore)
-
Wouldn't usually post stuff like this, but just in case... I received this email from a mate; BEWARE OF PAPER IN THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE NEW WAY TO DO CAR JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE) You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse. When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car jacker's appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised! BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.... If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women.

Spotted a Silver S2 siting at a red light in the left lane at the Frankston-Cranbourne Rd/Moorooduc Hwy intersection on Monday night (16th Feb). Gave a wave as I crossed the Hwy in front of you. 400km's? Jeez, I don't think I have been spotted yet & I have been driving my M35 around Vic for nearly 2 years and over 60,000kms!!!

Wtb: M35 Aftermarket Front Bar
iamhe77 replied to Obelisk's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
That front bar in made by Impul. Try www.rmsmotorparts.com.au I am sure Henry could get it in for you. or you could ask the guy that was selling that car as he was selling the car without it. -
Have you checked that the ballast is missing? The wires may have just been cut and tucked away and the ballast left attached to the light assembly.

Where To Get Audio For The V35 Installed?
iamhe77 replied to V35 Matt's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Why not just do the iPod install yourself? Get a PA11-NIS off US ebay. It simply plugs into the back of your existing unit... or at least it did with mine. Shouldn't set you back more than $300 total with current crap exchange rates. No need for CD's then. Just dump them on your iPod in Lossless format. No skipping either -
Jeez man, always with the manual conversion... What about a transmission from the G37 AWD? http://www.merchantcircle.com/blogs/Infini...er-Roads/137791

Translated Workshop Manual M35 & C34
iamhe77 replied to iamhe77's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Hey all. Quick update. The director of JPNZ international has just informed me that 75 expressions of interest are required to translate the Workshop manual for either C34 or M35. The catch? $200 per manual. Not too bad considering that for the most part we rarely even blink and spending $200 on our cars. S1 & S2 are nearly there. Let's get some M35 numbers going eh? -
Within 24hrs On my way home; Yellow Galliardo (again) Ferrari Modena (red - duh!) Lamborghini Diablo (black) At shops near my work (Mt Eliza); Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead (THAT has a PRESENCE!) 3x Porsche Cayenne Turbo's (they are everywhere around here) 2x Aston Martin DB9 (one black, one "brittish racing" green) Just ridiculous.
-
It would be a great car if you ripped that god awful MASA kit off & replaced the wheels with something decent. Not sold on the Crayon blue either. Funny how M35's can look utterly spectacular or, as is the case here, ugly as hell.
-
Yep, WAAAAAYYY too low. Don't mind the front bar, but I certainly wouldn't spend my hard-earned on it. Custom job? Haven't seen it before. Skirts and rear bar I like alot. LOVE the Zelius Dioss exhaust. It is from the PM35 (late 2004+ model). If I had've seen if before I got my Fuji....
-
Interested to hear also.

Glad you are happy with the repair. Can you possibly PM me the details? I need to remove some dents from mine. 2 small in roof from an 8 inch thick tree branch that came down in strong winds, snapped over roof & scratched down and dented the bonnet 1 in passenger rear door... shopping centre... I figure it was a car door from a 4WD considering height and angle mmm... much anger held inside, but what to do? Anyone know a GOOD dent repairer around the Frankston area?
-
Seconded. High flowing and pretty quiet, but gives a nice burble.

Ngk Iridium/platinum Spark Plugs
iamhe77 replied to RS4StagMan's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
meh. My mate and I have the Denso Iriduim's in our Stags and they are running beautifully. They are gapped at 0.4mm and cost $16.50 each. They are also recommended to be changed every 150,000km's... Platinum's are 100,000kms I believe. Sooo, Irriduim = $16.50 x 6 is $99 for 150,000km's. Copper = $5 x 6 is $30 every 10,000kms ($30 x 15 = $450 for 150,000) Each to their own I say.
