Bloody fussy bastards. Fine. I will look through my stuff tomorrow for something you like. Please tell me don't want a RICE GT wing bolted on the back!
-
Sorry for being lazy here Dan, but did you have the stock exhaust when your turbo problems arose?
-
What about the Nismo wing? Bit more subtle?
-
Solution. 1) Tough exhaust outlet 2) WIDE tyres 3) Lower car if still unsatisfactory, spend stupid money and get the Takero's covers for the lights or the reflectors. Here are the reflector covers.... (and NO, I do not like the body kit) Just can't find the pic of the light cover.

Yeah, but it also turns your man-region into the human equivalent of a kettle. Overheating and boiling your friendly swimmers. Not so good. For sure As the guy on the old Ford as said to the group of hotties.... "and you should ALWAYS choose leather because leather is easier to clean". Still the best "accidental" dirty statement ever.

Cheers TJ. Spotted a Silver (Grey?) S1 at Fountain Gate shopping Centre amid the Christmas Chaos at 8pm last night. Are they 260RS rims? If not, they are quite similar (from my viewpoint at "reasonable" speed )
-
Correct. Oddly, as much I love my car's leather interior, I have found that my mate's cloth seats are more comfortable and much more supportive They don't look too bad either, but no power or heating for him (guys - just don't use heated seats while sitting on them)

That sounds about right to me. Don't know about th refund. I have heard that before, but never have, nor known anyone who has had to test that theory. Maybe someone else knows the answer. What did VicRoads say about the refund?
-
Don't know. Just told him that the yard was in NSW and he could see when the rego was up. Filled out all paperwork via fax and email. I did get alot of the "don't just buy a car of the net" from the fam... Until they saw the car, that it. Let alone, in my Dad's case, driving it! Many apologies and impressed friends later, everyone that gets in absolutely loves it!
-
Or you could do what I did & drive the car with the NSW RWC, then when it is about to expire, go into Vicroads & have the registration changed to VIC plates. You don't even need to have the car looked at, just take the old plates in with you (make an appointment). Will probably cost you about $1400. Yes, I was pulled over for speeding while I had the NSW plates. It was no problem. The cop just wrote me a ticket and that was it.

Yes. Small or sometimes not-so-small deviations in the structure of the road which cause the traveling vehicle to react in such a way as to keep occupants aware that they are not riding on a cloud. Commonly referred to as bumps. "bump" in use - "Jeezus Farken Chriiist this road is BUMPy!!!" So I ask again, how did it handle the bumps? Was it twitching and bouncing all over the place or was it a relatively smooth ride (which would mean absorbing the "bumps" in the road)?

Fine choice in cars. You won't regret it. 1) As Jules said, electrics are standard AR-x/Axis, I do believe that Xenons are standard across the board. 2) Having just converted my car back to factory Xenon's, I can tell you that it was a pretty easy job... depending on who did the compliance. Tony from Northshore Prestige left all the good stuff in there (THANK YOU!!). As a note, Northshore now return all lights back to Xenon's for sale 3) With the dollar as it is, unfortunately I doubt you could meet those requirements. Try an AR-x or Axis on www.Carpoint.com.au .You won't get cruise (extremely rare), but you can get the rest... I am pretty sure that the car yards will drop their price for you, just ask I recently negotiated a price for my mates M35 from $25k down to $18750 delivered to his door in Melbourne. 72000kms, Nismo suspension & dials, Legalis R exhaust, Endless front brake kit, ARC cooler, Surround sound DVD system.... Find one you like & call the yard. Most are happy to do business. 4) Depending on yard, but most will be in excellent condition. If you need/want more info, don't be afraid to ask. Best of luck.

No problemo. Thanks for the update.

Hey Tony, any idea when this tuning is happening AND how much your tuner will be charging? I don't mean to be impatient, but I am looking at either doing this or having my eManage Ultimate installed and tuned. Got the money and the unit for the eManage, but would like to weigh up my options.

Sh*t stirrer lol

That looks great, man. Finally the front and back match! I have always felt like the front & rear of Stagea's (yes, even my beloved M35) seemed like they were off different cars.
-
You found someone to do it? No worries. Just thought I would offer (I used to suffer from arachnophobia myself). Best of luck!

Very old thread I know, but seeing Johnny's avatar reminded me. A couple of weeks ago I was on my way to work and driving down from Pakenham to Koo Wee Rup when, after overtaking a slowass, I noticed a large wide black arse of a car in front of me. Upon closer inspection it was a new murdered out (black paint, black wheels) Camaro (left hand drive) and must have been on it's way to the Lang Lang proving grounds. It was pissing down and he was sitting behind another slowass (80 in 100 zone) so I went past both cars, making sure to have a good look at the Camaro as I went past. He must've gotten a bee in his bonnet because he soon overtook the slowass and basically camped on my bumper. I decided to speed up a bit, and I guess he really wanted to go past me (which he eventually did). He turned off toward Lang Lang never to be seen again. Now I gotta say that I loved the new Camaro. Thought it was one of the best looking cars... But having seen one from most angles on the "flesh", I have gotta say that they are VERY large. The hips are higher than a VE's, it is wider than my M35 and if I didn't know better, I would say that it was built by Hyundai in the mid 1990's. Extremely disappointed. Not only that, but it does not have nearly as much guts as I thought it would! No sound either!! Another vehicle letdown. Bring on the Challenger! Now that looks the goods

Where is your mechanic & what time does it need to be there? I am in Pakenham & have the day off tomorrow... Gotta do some Xmas shopping, so I will be in/near Narre

That'll buff right out. The rest of the car in that shot looks lovely and clean though!

Aftermarket Performance Parts For M35's
iamhe77 replied to mxfly's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yeah I know. I spoke to Ben months ago about possibly getting a set... Higher priorities in life got in the way and now he cannot source the BTS kit!!!!!!!!!!! damn, blast and bother, I say! -
I am sure that Joe would be interested in swapping if you also throw in $10k For those interested, his suspension is a "custom, heavy duty kit from pedders". Sits a bit low for me and he has said that it is quite hard. Hey TJ, how did it handle the bumps?

Post A Pic Of Your Stagea Thread

Yeah, think you could make it up in your S2? Bastard thing is if I have 2 other people in the car, they have GTFO before I go up my drive! Very annoying! -
You can see what I have in my sig... But here is what I would LOVE (with a larger diameter pipe though)
