  1. uummm.... Laxatives in the fuel tank???
  2. True, but it was the first thing I could find.
  3. Sorry bud. Try this site; http://www.fastestlaps.com/car47d9a014adba0.html I do think that is conservative... They are "official figures" I do have to say though, when wheels compared the then-new HSV GTS with the NUR R34, the 34 put out over 220awkw on a 36 degree day, while the 300kw GTS put out around 210rwkw on that day. (If memory serves me).
  4. No, no... All 32-34 GTR's have the same power. 206kw.
  5. hmmm, does spotting at a meet count? Anyway, spotted S1 with eye lids (which actually looked quite good ) parked on Kars St in Frankston Sth last night. Was going to knock on your door to see what you wanted for it since you are selling. Alas, no time...
  6. Mate, you are far too kind! Your generosity in beyond measure!! * (falsely) assumes one to be purchased for me *
  7. It is a very nice ride. Comfortable with stuff-all roll. My only concern is when the Nismo kit starts to get tired and need replacing. By that time, they will probably have ceased manufacture... (100,000kms is about 28 months for me )
  8. Surprised could be labeled as an understatement! I have just been elevated to "Paranoid Level" when it comes to which fuel goes in.
  9. When I was looking in October, the Nismo S-tune kit was anywhere from $200-$500 cheaper than getting the Bilstein. Not adjustable though. My mate has it on his Stag. VERY nice ride * thinks about driveway incline *
  10. Hadn't actually looked (am 5000km's from replacing it - if it is there!) If it is not hidden away somewhere, it would explain why the car can run better on some tank fillups than others.
  11. So then, with a design that requires no filter - meaning nothing can get in - all we need to do is put in some quality fluid and "set and forget".....
  12. Ben cannot get the Bilstein suspension for the RS/RX anymore! His supplier has said that production on that suspension kit has ceased!!! Try Import Monster. I have seen a few still on there. Otherwise, it looks like we will have to grab the Nismo kit (if it is still available).
  13. How much stuffing around?
  14. Would that lend you to think that the Nissan guys are correct when they say there is no filter?
  15. Perhaps give Henry @ RMS (http://www.rmsmotorparts.com.au) a call (03) 9872 6669. Really nice guy and his prices are really, really good. If there is something similar for an S2, he will find it (he is the only one who knew of & found my front pipe).
  16. You have too much time on your hands Freddy! (but thanks for taking me back 25 years!)
  17. That would be mine. It is a 2001 Rs Four V. Standard suspension with Nismo LMX5 wheels. No body modifications (yet). It is actually a very early model NM35 (Aug/Sept 2001 build) Check out either my Album or Garage (click the link under my Avatar) for more pics.
  18. Ahh, the journey of discovery continues
  19. Best of luck with the sale Muz, but I think I would prefer to keep my Stag "non-tarted"
  20. What did Western Automatics have to say about the transmission? Anything wrong? Were they able to replicate the "unusual behavior"? ANY Nissan dealership can "deal" with the transmission. I would look at a different dealership. If they won't even look at an import, you can bet that their service staff are of sub-par ability. I have found that you have to be VERY selective with Nissan dealerships. When I quizzed the guys at Ferntree Gully about the transmission, they stated that there was no need to change the fluids once it has been sealed up. I was also told by another workshop that "these transmissions do not have filters, much like the Patrol transmissions". Dunno. I would prefer to see for myself that there is no filter... But I have been told my more than one dealership (phone calls) that it is not recommended to change AT Fluid.
  21. Soooo, where do we sit with the VQ35DE? I was of the understanding that could not be complied either.
  22. Pretty cool. Who has the cheese-cutter tyres on their Stag though? +1 Would love to see a shrunken version of my M35 sliding around a track It would probably get me back into the nerdy RC cars (only been 20 years!)
  23. The easiest way to tell the difference between the NM35 (2001-2004) and the PM35 (2004-2008) is in the headlights and grill. NM35 Axis RS Four PM35 Axis RS Four Gotta say though, that 2004 Axis kit is very nice on the eye - and kinda aggressive at the same time Hope that helps.
  24. I didn't realise that the Stagea group in Sydney was that friendly!!!
