  1. Actually, some servos have 2 different sized diesel pumps. A few Caltex servos near me have a larger quick fill pump and a very unleaded sized diesel pump, I presume for VW's etc. The small pump is even on the same bowser as the 91RON unleaded. When compared, I could not notice the difference in size between the pumps... Having said that, seriously. How can you not look which pump you have picked up? I mean, it's you pride and joy man!
  2. As opposed to wasting time and space on a useless post, huh? btw. I shed a tear for your plight.
  3. If you find the radio boring during the day & are in front of a computer, why don't you stream a radio station. I personally like www.kisw.com ("The Rock of Seattle"). Great tunes. Entertaining hosts etc. If you can't stream, why not get a 160GB iPod, load it up and put it on shuffle... or put the Get This pod casts on it & listen throughout the day?
  4. Hey Andy, Not to harass you bud, but have you heard of an ETA yet?
  5. Only if it is this one. Which reminds me. S5 drive tonight
  6. Couldn't agree more. Perhaps if they released interesting cars over here, there would not be such a large number of imported Nissans. Whilst I am not much of a fan of them, just think if they had brought in the R33! Almost as common as a blade of grass. If it was not possible to import what I have, I would probably be driving around in a Caldina or a Legnum. Nice cars but.... THANK GOD!
  7. Cheers, Trent. Does the $550 include the install?
  8. Actually, Ferntree Gully Nissan down here are normally very helpful - with the exception being parts pricing. Any other dealerships have been next to useless. Including one that stated that because it was a "Japanese car", they could only treat it like a they would if they were to work on a Falcodore and charge me $95/hr too "look it over" without diagnostics since all the error codes would "be in Japanese anyway". Is that kind of service what you were referring to Andy?
  9. Soooo, what kind of parts can you get? OE? Nismo? Other aftermarket gear? On that, does anyone know who the company is that sell Nismo in Australia? I have tried Nissan, but it would seem that Nissan JAP have sold the distributorship rights to another company. Nissan would not tell me who. .....still watching intently
  10. You may or may not have seen this, so.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/...N-admirers.html
  11. PS3 for sure. Can be used as a Blue Ray player (HD-DVD has been buried which is what XBOX pushed) Never had an issue with online PS3. If you can't find what you want online in Australia, just create a US account and log into the US servers. Adding friends is effortless (as long as you know their sig) Graphics are superior on PS3. Most of the big games come out for both platforms anyway. Another plus is that by buying a PS3, you are not adding to Microsoft's bank account... Not that Sony needs the money, but at least they put out products that work first time!

    Ideas..?

Dunno how much you have done to it and it does look very nice, but I say move on and update! If it is relatively stock, $25k is a great price. You could get a v35 GT-8 for $25k. Much nicer car.
  13. The pdf in this thread may help you when wiring up the eManage. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...html&st=260
  14. Yeah, I saw the pics you posted a while ago in the other thread, it looks great.... Have you managed to fill the gap on the lower front of the box?
  15. Unbelievable. Good luck with your case (and the GT40) Muz.
  16. Hey guys, If anyone here has decided to change their airbox and are looking to unload their OE "power" Airbox (the open one with the foam surrounds), I would be interested in taking it off your hands. (don't see any in the For Sale section)
  17. Jeez Iain! That's 2 threads that are waiting for pics!! C'mon, man. You been away or somethin'?

  19. What was it idling at when you were having the stalling probs?
  20. Since we have a few more Stagea owners, I thought I might give this thread a little push to remind others to register their interest for the translated workshop manuals for C34 & M35 Stageas. http://www.jpnz.co.nz/afawcs0131170/CATID=...1/products.html Feel free to register your Hotmail, Gmail etc... accounts also
  21. Could the problem have been associated more so with the butterfly than the throttle switch? As with V35's, warm idle should be at 650rpm. I guess the main thing is that the stalling has gone, would like to pinpoint what the cause was in case others have this prob in the future.
  22. Agreed. But I suppose now that most people have ipods with massive amounts of the music they want to listen to, radio stations playing music has become redundant. "Gotta get the ratings somehow... I know! Let's make comedians talk for extended periods to entertain the masses. Surely that will work!" Rarely does that make a good show. Don't know what Triplem are going to do now, but the replacement drive show with Fitzy from 4pm is rubbish, God only knows what they are ding in the evenings now. Lucky my PA11-NIS is coming
  23. Cheers Chook. Been meaning to do this for a while now. *lazy bastard* Next weekend.
  24. Matthew, Muz, just wondering if you guys both used the same importer? I am not asking you to name names, I am just wondering if there are more than I company giving out incorrect information.
