Had the same thing in past. Would not always happen, but when it did happen, the fear of god was put into my wallet. Funny thing is that when I upgraded my wheels from 17" to 18", the noise stopped. odd.

Autech Axis - It's All Over - Sayonara!

Congratulations Matthew on prevailing through the courts. It is unfortunate that you (and your family) had to go through all of this, but I am glad that it returned a favourable outcome for you. -
South Australian Ag Blocks Games Rating Debate
iamhe77 replied to BigDirtyJase's topic in PC & Games Discussion
Agreed. Or you can order through these guys; https://www.hitech-sales.com/ Delivery is usually less than 2 weeks from purchase. My most recent game was Rockband 2 which arrived 6 business days after purchase... Definitely recommended. Just need the dollar to improve again. -
Nah, looks like the web address will be posted here when it is completed & we will purchase from that, enter our unique code, download the software, burn it onto a DVD and insert into the car's DVDROM (above glovebox).

Figured as much... Andy, I have access to the Aussie maps on a Toyota Disc... Can't be updated though. Do you know if it would be possible for the guys to fiddle to allow Toyota DVD's to play in the Nissan DVDROM? I know it would end up being expensive ($400 for updated DVD from Toyota), but at least Sat Nav could be possible?
-
LOL! Nice economy Andy!! Looks great. Can't wait. On the start screen, it states that there is no Disc. Will we have to have a disc in the DVD ROM at all times (not really an issue, just curious)? Love the conversion to L/100km Lastly, do you know if we will be downloading from a site & burning to DVD or will we be ordering and having a DVD shipped to us? If shipped. Put me down for 2 please.

Check page 4 of the doc attached. I don't remember the details clearly enough, but a law was passed around 1914 making it illegal for any "civilian carriage" to have a front facing red light. The red light was restricted to First Aid and/or Police "carriages". Like I said, it was about 10years ago I was told but I believe that this is the general jist... As an aside... Why the F*CK would you put ghey neon on any car? (Fully sick Fast an Furious mate!)..... lame * Personal opinion my not be shared by others * lic_drivesafebook_part5.pdf

What! How could you say that!! Even after they were just talking about Hammond's penis!!!

Quiet, but with a nice deep rumble while cruising... Open her up & the volume increases a fair bit. Nowhere near shaking windows though 3" Fujitsubo Legalis R Evolution exhaust 3" Kakimoto front pipe Stock dump because it contains the pre-cat which I have found it enough if you are selective about which fuel you use. example: I filled up using Vortex98 last week and for the first time, my car smelt like rotten egg. Used 74L, put 15" of Vpower in, smell is much less. Will be filling up tomorrow with ether Ultimate or Vpower. Smell should be gone completely.

Good stuff TJ. That is making what mine was with the HiFlow turbo, but before I installed my exhaust! Amazing what a difference it makes, eh? Easier power?

When I get time, it is either Guitar Hero: World Tour/Rockband 2, Warhawk or NBA 2k9. So much gaming time required.... So little gaming time available.

Do you still looking to sell those Z33 Brembos? PM me.

I have done more research into this brake thing. It appears that the rear rotors for the NM35 ARE the same as the X-trail/350z touring/V35 skyline as they all share the same rear brake package. (although it does seem that they are different for Dixcel rotors on Import Monster) God Damnit! Serves me right for listening to a parts manager at Nissan.... jeez, what would they know....
-
Bugger... I thought it was in "M35 info"... Must have skimmed over it...

I think that you will find all "elaborations" in .... Nope. Can't find it and it is home time. Sorry Jules. It is on here somewhere though. *application for least helpful post of the week*

It may not be the most powerful system, but it will definitely do what you want and should still be usable in a couple of years when Windows 7 is released.

Sure. 19" Benq E900W LCD $199 AMD Phenom 9550 (quad core) $225 Asus M3N-HD-HDMI (motherboard) $139 Kinngston 4GB 6400 HyperX DDR2 RAM $109 Asus 9600GT graphics card $139 Western Digital 160GB Sata 2 HDD $55 Western Digital 320GB Sata2 HDD (16MB) $75 Antec Sonata 3 case $175 ----------------------------------------------------------- Total $1116 (unless my maths is failing me) ----------------------------------------------------------- Note; I went with AMD because of budget, and I think that they are superior bang-for-buck 2 Hard drives... Put your Windows install on the 160GB and everything else on the other (If you have to format and re-install Windows, no problem! Just remember to back up your user stuff) I did not include Windows Vista64 ($145). But you will want to get a 64-bit OS to take advantage of the CPU and RAM. These prices are from a recent CPL price list.

Hey guys. Just another piece of misc info. For those of us who are not changing our brake calipers but wish to upgrade our brake pads & rotors; Front rotors and pads are the same as 350z touring/V35 Skyline/current Maxima and Rear rotors and pads are the same as the X-trail. The rear pads & rotors for the 350z or v35 will not fit without modification. Just thought you would like to know.

You do know that you can change where itunes dumps you music, right? I use itunes on my PC to manage my music, but only out of convenience... and the fact that I am rarely in front of my PC. Winamp is a far superior app.

PC (my build - cheap but powerful), PS3, Wii... PC is not really used for games. What is used for games is mainly the PS3, although the Wii gets a good workout from time to time. Wife is playing Harvest moon on the Gamecube at the moment - very addictive. (also have N64, SNES (with Wildcard), PS1, PS2, Nintendo DS and an Intellivision all locked up in a cupboard). Sorta wish I still had my old NES as well...

I have both Rockband 2 & Guitar Hero World Tour. Actually I bought Rockband back in April. Really good. Plenty of great DLC. Just got Rockband 2 last week. Much of the same and all DLC from Rockband 1 works (38 tracks in my case). Unfortunately for those who are picking up Rockband, Entropay does not work on a US account anymore, so all 140+ DL songs cannot be accessed by Aussies unless you have a US credit card (US address) or pay the ridiculous charged on ebay.com for PSN cards. If you don't have either, I would recommend Guitar Hero World Tour. Better instruments (although the drums do not yet work with RB - patch coming soon to fix this), more fun and more challenging (Hard on GT = Expert on RB) Nice selection of songs - the majority are hard rock/metal though. I bought RB2 so my DLC would not go to waste and so my wife and I can play through a band career (she has one hell of a voice & I actually play real guitar). I bought GT:WT because it has Tool, Ozzy & Metallica's Death Magnetic (and my mate bought RB1 off me) - not music my wife really gets into... Mates on the other hand....

Andy. You gotta stop all this Swaybar talk man. It is killing me here! I want to get them so bad, but I also have an Emanage Ultimate with harness sitting in my Garage (install & tune will cost about the same as the swaybars), need to do brakes (will probably just get the pads though), and my suspension has become almost decrepit over the past week.... *sigh* ECU... Swaybars... ECU... Swaybars... decisions, decisions

hmmm, interesting. I know it is impossible to replicate exactly, but are you roughly traveling the same route & similar speeds as with the previous tanks? Need to fill up today... Might give it a go. As an aside, are there any RS or RX owners getting the 15L/100 mileage that the AR-x owners are getting? I only ask because I have never travelled less than 615kms from full to when the light comes on. Even with the exhaust and 1bar max boost I am still getting 630-640kms. Could the Ar-x be thirstier than an RS/RX?

Had a very expensive experience with my old R31 when I was using Synergy 8000. Got a bad batch (I guess) and it seized up the car. Turns out everything from the pump to the injectors needed replacing. The mechanic said it was like someone had put glue on my tank (not possible as the sputtering only started after I filled up on the way to work that day). It is probably a fine fuel now, but you know how it goes.
-
Nope. In the rare instances I have actually used Caltex fuel, it has given me no better economy nor power than Shell Vpower or BP Ultimate. I have also been told that Caltex is a "dirtier" fuel... whatever, I didn't really use it before hearing that so..... Having said that, what are the differences with your car? Economy numbers? Power description? .... And I never use Mobil.
