Both non-factory obviously. Why not pull the panel down and follow the wires? May help give you some idea if you don't want to push them.

Burning $1000 - Brakes or Diff?
iamhe77 replied to colourclassic's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Should be able to squeak in under $1k for a 370z akebono brake upgrade. Don't fade like the 350z brembos do. I managed a set of calipers with pads, f&r RDA slotted rotors and bbk bracket for just under $1k, so it can be done. Sent from my HTC_0P6B using SAU Community mobile app -
White NM35 with a Fujitsubo Legalis, Dolphin grill & front bumper headed down South Gippsland Hwy this arvo. Went passed me near Koo Wee Rup. Flashed my lights but not sure the driver was noticing much!

PNM35 ECU tuning/standalone/piggy back options

Why would you not look at Osiris? No real need for much more if staying NA -
350z brembo are a direct bolt on.

Summary Of P1-110 Of The M35 Info Uber Thread
iamhe77 replied to MrStabby's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
They will fit but obviously the issue with ARX/Axis are the flares. -
Not with the standard snorkel. The radiator cap is on the passenger side of the radiator for 350z rads and will foul on the snorkel. Of course if you are running a pod or something that doesn't require the snorkel, it should fit with a bit of support cutting.

I wonder if the PNM35/G35x trans would plug in to your loom. Might be a worthy swap as it has nicer changes and no external pump to worry about.

That is a very interesting cooler...

Good to see you back Josh. Needs more Nismo though (looks at wheels)

Silver NM35 Axis with a black bonnet on South Gippsland Hwy last Sunday (20th). Also, a silver NM35 RS on the Monash last Friday heading in to Melbourne. Skipping through traffic just to continuously overtake each other... two silly Volvo's

M35 whispbar roof racks
iamhe77 replied to ben3322's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Possibly interested. These do not require modification (either to the bar or car) to fit? -
This is the cooling mod I am referring to and is a necessary item for VQ25det and VQ35de as far as I am concerned. It helps with coolant flow throughout the engine and eliminates the hotspot (and air pocket) created by the blanking plate between the heads. Nissan actually have this line from factory on the VQ40 although it is thermostat controlled. I always install an external transmission cooler on any car I have because using the 80-95 degree in-radiator coolant to "regulate" the lines from 100+ degrees C in the trans fluid just doesn't seem efficient to me for cooling. Cooler trans fluid temps have been shown to extend the life and lower wear on the transmission components. It is a pretty extreme setup that cools transmission temps too much (I did manage this with a VQ25det Stagea - two external coolers, no lines to the radiator and outside air temps below 2 degrees C).

1. transmission cooler 2. cooling system mod Then look at performance mods (transgo shift kit, brakes & suspension then intake/exhaust)

This Is The New Recipe Chat Thread...
iamhe77 replied to Houdini's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Is that a question? If you are asking if LSD was available as an option for M35's from factory, the answer is yes for both series. -
Aah yes, the Moore exhausts. Reasonably familiar and only ever heard on in the flesh. Just noticed, bloody hell, 7.5 years ago!
-
Lovely. Having a PNM35, I have occasionally dreamed of having two of those rear mufflers. Don't know if they would fit on the driver side due to spare wheel well though. Any chance of giving a height, width, depth measurement of the drum (don't worry about the tips) for me?

Send them to Nissan? Should be the standard 10-day turnaround ordering through any Nissan dealership for parts that need to come from Japan.

Is PM35 suspension same as M35?
iamhe77 replied to nagasakihacky's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Series 1 and 2 M35 suspension is interchangeable - obviously RWD to RWD and AWD to AWD only though. The AWD fronts do not have the fork on the lower end (just a stump) which the RWD struts do. -
What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
iamhe77 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
They are factory option cameras, it is just that the Nismo bar did not come with provisions for them. -
What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
iamhe77 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Ugh, had a similar thing happen in a shopping centre car park last Thursday - except it was another driver's lapse in concentration whilst I was sitting in my parking space! On another note, installed the modified Nismo front bar (had to accommodate the front cameras) and Dolphin grill. Also decided to put a C34 double unicorn in the grill to finish it off EDIT: Yes, I am aware that is a dirty car with a poor quality phone pic. -
