well, the std pipe is a fkn wierd bit of kit with a massive traingular box section hanging off the back of the muffler - there to keep it flat at the back for the pillion I assume, but that is no longer an issue, so I am thinking about 350-400mm in length, need to have an inlet to take 1 3/4' pipe. Gotta have a nice thick casing, as its going to have lugs welded direct to the case

pulling Ragnar down to the frame at the front end (most of this is already done as i found a couple of spots of surface rust along the oil tank seams when I took the tank off) and pulling the front end off the new parts bike so I can make some drawings up of the new centre spindle Imma going to need to bring the 2 together, so I can get it trailered off next week to get the new tank fitted and a new seat base made.

Say no more. Had a good chat to the Minister on the weekend, we agreed the best thing to do is hand it off to a pro builder as the frame mod list id getting pretty long. Just got to find a bloke I like and trust now. Also, used my local "hire a hoist" place to do the service on the ministers focarse too, due to me still being a creaky old bastard, and for the $60 it cost me was an absolute bargain I reckon. However - there is a track running from the highway (before the cemetry..) near the biblimum track called "Collie Scenic Drive" that takes you along the river towards the back of Collie towards minninup pool etc, and it has a crapload of perfect little camping/marroning/swimming spots.
