  1. my 6262 is on its way *thumbs*
  2. this is typical of some workshops. which is why its hard to bring myself to even go to any more. some guys are absolutely dodgy and give the good ones bad names. for Example few years back my brother took his VL to a workshop to get an issue looked at. they stalled and talked crap, removed stuff and replaced shit, ( but everytime we went there they hadnt done shit, just removed some shit and left it looking like it was busy. parked it in behind a bunch of car so the car could never be removed. had to go remove it by force. absolutely f*kin joke, we found when w go the car home they had stolen some shit off it. but the cops would do shit because they denied it.

  7. i dunno wat its worth about 600$? bottom end, crank pistons rods etc. all still in block. Nothing was wrong with bottom end, I just built a new 30 so its not required any longer. dry and wet tests prooved 165ish across all 6. engine never missed a beat, and pfc knock always below 20! so its in good nick. Needs sump and oil pump. (stolen for new engine). block is plastic wrapped and ready for pickup. Price is neg. can get pix if required. 0419745910 - dale

  12. is it buchered yet? or still rolling shell?
  13. a lightweight prop shaft (and wheels etc) reduces rotational inertia in the driveline. A lightweight flywheel reduces inertia on the rpm of the engine , ie , improves ramp speeds in rpm which gives quicker revs with no weight behind it (on off throttle etc or free rev), it wont make much difference to the cars acceleration, thats why you didnt notice it. a combination of all factors makes all the difference.
  14. Nice valley cover Ryno . thanks, yep its super resonsive and makes good power. and its in mint condition!
  15. what Ive told some other good ppl i know, including ppl on this forum who have built there beasts. take your number, and double it. then take 25%. then your in the ballpark of what it will all cost. provided you do alot of the work yourself.
