  2. A bit late but anyhow.. Spotted: Black R34 GTR 'Choy' Myers Carpark last week - Very nice! even my mrs wanted to take a pic. (and she not into cars, But shes getting there ) Spotted: 1 x R33 gtst Maroon logan road, near springwood. Spotted: 1 x R33 gtst Maroon this afternoon, Brownsplains road. Big hks FMIC. and 400r front bar? i think.. looks good. I was in a camry
  3. It will be an Uphill Battle, But good luck theo!
  4. I found mine to be Great on fuel! ~ Untill I started modding it. Handling is great, comparing to any australian made cars and very direct for a stock car.
  5. this is kinda stupid. v8's are made for burnouts! nothing more.

    R32 Vs R35

THat is correct, It was an official time 20+ seconds faster than the R32. I cant remember (for the life of me), the time for the R34 though. maybe its on the offical site.
  7. look at other cars with 2pc and 3pc designs. they all become faulty after time and wear. I reckon a 1pc replacement will be on the cards, for the front drive shaft after time and wear come into play.
  8. Oh yea, and the GTiR had Lightweight Volk Wheels too. Dont get me wrong, I love the little GTiR, I have had the pleasure of driving the one mentioned above, and even got to race it a few times, do a few launches. Great little cars And they launch Insanely hard. Around a track though, Im pretty sure the GTiR would've killed me
  9. Just dont get the kit, By the Cooler by itself, then get the pipework made up by the guys doing your plenum.
  10. sure, It will loose. No Problem. Your so Cool. I didnt want to bother bringing it up but ok. stock vs stock, Sure GTiR will win. But only by 0.04 on Q/M. ET. Few simple Breathing mods. on both cars. The RB25 gets more power per mod than the GTiR. for Example ie. Zaust, Pod, FMIC. For Example. GTiR, FMIC, Custom 3" pipework and Blitz BOV, Power FC, Pod, CAI, Exhaust, = 165-175awkw (give or take) @ 16psi Weighting in about 1250kgs. This one on question had 165awkw. possibly low reading dyno? R33 Gtst, Zaust, Pod, Cai, FMIC, everything else stock. = 180rwkw > 195rwkw (some examples have gotten more just a rought example) Mine actually turned out 194rwkw. @ 11psi Weighing in about 1360kgs. GTiR -> floggs the GTST off the line, every time, By about 80km's, GTST Passes the GTiR, to win to 160 by about 4 car lengths. Every time. Tests were done on Private closed controlled Conditions of course . You seem to believe they are faster than they actually are.
  11. jeez, I hope this is just a rumor.
  12. hi mate, You are a funny guy. This site is deadicated to you. Enjoy. http://modified350z.justgotowned.com/
  13. but of course you can do it. and it should work ok.
  14. Edit*, you will find that it will always be on. and draining your battery. also you cant keep the temps at an optimized level. we found that the thermo will actually bring the coolant alot lower than the optimized temp. You put cold coolant into a hot hi-reving engine. you will crack it.
  15. Unless of course I can better 270! which I think its do-able.
  16. Do you know if the R33 came with this wiring standard also? It would save me money on a thermo switch, and time wiring it .. do you know if you can also modify the standard thermo switch to kick in desired temperature? or should i just stick to the thermo switch.
  17. Nothing wrong with Thermos, Unless of course its not setup right. Infact thermos are better than belt driven, because your temps are not controlling your belts. And it helps to free up your engine. Removing your shroud is not a good idea. when using any fan. You wont fit too many thermos on these radiators, as they are not long enough. Unless you make a custom shroud for the thermos. Your better off using 1x 16 inch or whatever your measured max diameter is. I'll also be doing this upgrade asap. As my radiator is cracked too. Probably going to get the JJR ones, $400 drop in. away you go. cant complain. 12 month warranty too
  18. My mate is using one on his 302 windsor. I was a bit skeptical when the Idea came up, But its really working great. actually better than the Mechanical Stock pump did. We also have a DAvis craig 15" thermo fan setup, with thermo switch active on it, so that also helps. the damn thing runs cooler than my RB. so yea. good investment. But not sure if its really worth the effort on an RB.
  19. i think i bent mine, inward and towards the right.
  20. clutch could be shagged.
  21. haha I should pretend to buy ur car feel what 300@ the treads feels like. Yea, I only ask, cause im doin Reno's atm, pretty much like backyard blitz. . but the whole yard. bit of a pain tryin to lay a whole yard of grass on water restrictions!
