  4. This is Correct. which makes that tutorial quite useless for anything other than R32. The issue has seemed to have dissapeared this morning Theres gotta be someone out there, who knows how do diagnose Hicas R33 onwards. Im not keen on using a lock bar. As I plan on using the Hicas to its full potential, And solving this issue!
  5. Have you been able to get into this Diagnostic mode yourself 'Jdfng' ? I have not , even back with my stock ecu, and now with the PFC. I have tried Extensively tonight, to get it into diagnostic mode, following the instructions on that website exactly. And also tried a few variations of the instructions aswell. as prior to this last time I had issues with the stock ECU, I did try a few times, with very similar instructions to that website, that didnt work either.
  6. thank you that is some really good info there. "The HICAS light in the instrument cluster will be flashing quickly (for normal) or will flash a code indicating any problems. Long flash = first digit, short flash = second digit. Diagnostics will return to normal after five minutes, or any speed over 10k/ph, or ingnition is turned off. " But will this work with a non standard ecu.. for instance a PowerFC

  8. Update ** the problem is back for me.. 'siick' did you end up fixing the problem.?? Something else I noticed this time around is.. When the hicas light comes on, and the steering becomes stiff (ie. no power steering), the ACC control doesnt work. I notice No blip when moving the steering. I have checked all fuses this time, and all is ok. I will take off all plugs again, and clean up, see how it goes.
  9. yea, Im going to go with General consensis. You do not need (nor would want to) change anything on the Z-tune, especially ecu. as it is already a mean mutha as it is. and has been extensively tested and tuned to what it is now. Only reason to change ecu, (which would require retune), would be if you were going for more power!, and in that case thumbs up. But even saying that, whats been said already about the Z-tune, is that its already got Immense acceleration, so more power might not really be required.
  10. Thanks m8 D wing? Drift wing?.. GTR adjustable wing on the rear is on the cards, for some rear downforce for track days, and a Trust or GTR front bar. for more airflow to the cooler. Once I've finished off the mechanics, just gotta get my Carbon prop shaft and a few other things yet

  15. congrads on the build, depends on ur turbo, but ur internals look pretty strong. so you could plan for bigger turbo injectors afm etc etc. to make alot more than 250rwkw. But this is just a guess .

  19. Yea Ive noticed this about the Octane Booster, But the plugs still seem to work fine for me, Im using Iridiums. Gapped to .8 Apparently also the Octane Booster makes your cat colapse? is this true? either way, it really does help take knock levels down, so i just keep using it. Cats are much cheaper than a engine rebuild I reckons.. But Im probably being paranoid again.. Can anyone substantiate if the Octane booster really does make ur cat colapse?
