  1. Step 9: needs to be more elaborated on I believe, Especially including spark plug tightening torque. it is important not to over tighten sparkplugs in alloy heads.
  2. there is such things as freaks. I know a car like this.
  3. Are you sure you filled the oil into the engine and not the radiator?!?!? cause if it was gone in such a short trip, it wouldve had to be blowing shitload of smoke, and or a big hole in ur sump. also, just incase, check ur intercooler, for oil. you might find it full with oil.
  4. crank will definently have to come out, But wont need balancing again. as for the bearings. well you should change them, but i guess if your careful enough, ;you could possibly reuse them, although a few people may dissagree with this, and of course it isnt the best suggestion.
  5. works now, great work, thanks for that.
  6. newbies section! Hi Im new Name : Dale Location: kingston/logan Cars: R33 Skyline Colour : HyperSilver/2tone Mods: why.. its Stock officer! MSN: Pm me I like stuff! ahoy there!.. dont forget support "ACt like a pirate day, In your area!.. Today!"

  8. I believe nengun do 1 type of ARC setup. Part Number # MO73ER34F06 http://www.nengun.com/arc/intercooler-front-mount this could be what your looking for, so as the pipework comes back retaining the standard pipework arrangement. ARC normally just do cores, and then people do end tanks themselves, I would imagine there would be someone out there to make up a design to your needs, using the ARC core you wanted'.. Very nice coolers.. i would love one, But they just so expensive :S hope that helps
  9. hahah thats Teh Ghey!!!

  11. ahh So this is the R33, man that is awsome!. Would love to see it in the flesh. Do ya think you will finish it, and get a chance to get it out on the track for some fun in the October Timeattack, before ya sell it?. would love to see that! cheers, dale

  17. its the laws, The overall percentage of this kind of activity, is not only older drivers, if the laws were better implemented then we would see a less percentage of this issue. Im talking about, car's speedo's can be 10% out. but the law only allows for 3% variation. depending on the state. it could be 3kms @ 100. Its no wonder people are slowing down. Realistically, do you enjoy getting fines? although I do know where your comming from, Some people intentionally do it, to piss ya off.
  18. Heard about this new flu outbreak in brissy from a friend, then the pharmacy lady told me about it, then on the news apparently, already theres been a fatality.. an I think I got it too. wtf is going on.. ** correction
  19. Mate, dont get me wrong, Could be Electrical issue, doesnt have to be engine. If you read my post i didnt say the engine breaks down, and I even added how they are have great Engines. Car / And Engine --- Engine is only 1 part of the car. I agree Toyota's engines are tufff. the only engines ive ever seen , that can repeatedly clock over 1,000,000kms and keep on going. Tuff as nuts!
  20. Everyone has very good points. I've driven a nice GTiR, and they are quite good. but they arnt really good on petrol, i gotta say. and a skyline has a much better feel too it. much nicer handling, better interior, and more power. But like as they say, 20k might not get you an Immaculate one, But possibly if you look hard enough you could pick an Immaculate one for about 22k. There is a video on Youtube, back in like '93' of japanese test drivers, testing stock vs stock GTiR vs R32 GTR. around a track. and the GTR is faster not only on straights but around the twisties. And for the life of me I dont understand how, AS the GTiR has a shorter wheen base and is lighter. Possibly something to do with the style of Awd system. where the GTiR is Front first drive. and the GTR is Rear first. It really depends who you are, 'some people buy cars to drive, and some people buy cars to look at'. which one are you?
  21. hopefully the car is done by the 23rd paul . but its going to be a bit touch and go. Although if its not done, Ill come down and help out again.. Looks like october is shaping up to be awsome! good work! although im reluctant to put me name on the board as yet, as I wont know if the car will be where I want it in time. all the best!
  22. Count me in!! 12 august Ill be there. I really hope that the politians do wake up and re-open it, I just can't wait to drive it.
  23. mine sits at 18-20, i think it merely shows the innaccuracy of the aftermarket boost gauge... either that or a slight intake leak. will know for sure in a few weeks
  24. Awsome... This is the first time i seen someone else with a similar car to me over the whole time ive owned mine, only other 2 door i saw in 2 tone was a non-mspec one.. love it. Go the 2 tone mspec s1! looks pretty.
  25. I dont think I contridicted myself at all.. Soarer has 1jz ? 2jz? either both are great engines. and RB's are good too. its funny how this is really just a pissing contest.
