Ive seen a couple of Freighted Motors come in a Crate which had Mounts on it for the Engine mounts Thus keeping it upright and stable. I would imagine Companies that courier motors to use this sort of Crate. See if you can dig one up or borrow one. They are made of wood, You could actually make one yourself if you got a few hours spare. good luck to you.

people have been saying that the S2 interior is better than S1.. Funny thing is, Mine is a S1 Type M and the interior is much nicr than 2 of my mates S2's. Theres is Sort of like Canvas. and Mine is like Velvet furr. Could be a Type M thing not too sure on that.

i did 280 in a vlt on the stuart highway. You naysayers can not whinge about me driving illegally, when there was No speed limit on this road at the time it was the best thing about the NT !! oh yea did 260 on the back of a bike too down stuart. but damn i dont recommend doing that! now that was scarey !

hahahaha. Not just with nissian, But holden, and other car manufacturers that have used GTS to Name the product of its Type and By nature which is a --// Grand Touring Saloon. With a skyline its the same but with say R33 you add 25T which is RB2500 + T = Turbo. etc which has been covered by previous posts but thought id re drum it for the slower few. AS the topic states. Anyone who did a comp test on their stock R33 before they modded it post it up. I did mine recently before I threw on some mods. all mine had was the HKS from the turbo back with SuperDragger Exhaust. running stock boost etc. etc. I got 175-175-175-175-175-175 all pots , I was definently pleased with that they were nice and even. When I was chatting with a GTR owner recently he seemed to think that was incorrect. Or that my internals are not stock for that compression test. So went back to my mates shop did another same result. Now he uses top quality snap-on equipment so I'm sure all the readings are correct. Just wanted to do a Comparison to anyone elses results.

we are talking about from japan, Not here in qld.This Vcheck is great but only for qld?. Be great to know exactly what the cars had prior to leaving japan, and Not the Importers report, as they also seem to be in on it. I dont believe they are all dodgy. be nice to know who is and who isnt though

mine only ticks when i turn the car on or off. 1 tick noise. apexi boost control unit from the avc-r, if yours is constantly ticking i guess urs could be faulty?.. check it out.

ouch! nice shrapmil in there. Ive only worked on a Aussie 4 speed. . Those boxes looks kool inside. Id recommend on the Reco over a second handy also. GTRsean car to mention the tools required for Open Heart surgury on the 5spd Box?

awsome great watch! .. great work! Race cars do sound noisy. Whats that noise, sounds like a banging over bumps and sometimes up and downshifting, or when letting it off. kinda sounds like a loose tail shaft or input shaft. Or could it be the Race 6speed box and drive train causing that clanking? only thing we could think of... seemed as though it was getting quieter as he drove a few more laps.

Does the Steering go all tight?.. There is a few threads about Hicas around the forums. if you search around.

Beware of a White small 4wd Soccermom looking car, likes to Hit and run skylines!! Now i have a huge 12cm Scrape from the Rear Wheel arch, to the Rear of the Car about 40cm long, thanks to some Dimwitted Moronic qld Driver that cant judge the front of his/her car when reversing out of a carpark. I wish they could read this, they are lucky they didnt stick around actually. Can you beleive it! thats woodridge Coles Car park for ya!!! i wonder if they woudl do a R1 R33 GTR seems fitting. or only a r34.
