That is something that i really was keen to know, as i figured ,from what the microtech is. that it probably wouldnt be that great for a daily driver, as some of you guys have pointed out. I mean my tuner is a pro at them, and has turned out some great high HP rides using them, but they are Yes " race or weekend" cars, which dont suit my profile. Now to find myself a PFC for my 33. in good condition... ahhh. i can see im going to have fun.. Im in brisbane, and was going to take it to the P.I.T.S, anyone else know anywhere else that are just as good, for less $$$? for the PFC tune?.. maybe around brissy?.. thanks

Good point, Yea tuner good with em, Might go with the FC, but hmmm, hard decision. will have to find a tuner for the FC . its a daily driver, not a race car. Thanks for your comments guys!

Not really the results im lookin for.. I know there is LOADS of info on the PFC on these boards.. Not so much about the Microtech on a skyline though.. what i really want is a comparison. I mean.. the PFC was originally designed with Skylines in mind.. wasnt it?.. could be wrong there.. but also the microtech has good self learning features so ive been told, so i need a comparison, cause im tryin to work out which route im going.. i mean i can get the PFC, get it tuned at pits or somethin, prob cost me 1600 total. Or i can get the Micro, from Microtech to suit my rb25det, then fully tuned buy my tuners. for 2k flat. just wondering.. is it better to spend the extra 400$. and i mean, wat if the PFC is better for the skyline.. so can anyone Compare the 2? and point out your reasons for the results.

PwrFC VS Microtech? any experiences or opinions, plz post input which is better , which runs better, is more cost effective versus adding more mods etc. and for a Daily driver.. wouldnt it be better to actually keep the afm? for fuel consumption reasons, in different temperatures?.

hi mate, i lived in perth for 5 years, i can tell u few things about qld differences. there is no PITS here. just 'queensland transport', and that normally means, get a RWC done, go to the office, take ur rego papers and RWC papers. wait in the queue, pay ur rego, and ur done. no car mandatory car inspections, or anything. the only time they check up on ur car, if u tell them its highly modified at teh trans department or they dont like the look of you. lol cops same as everywhere i guess. although the road rules here are a bit over the top. but if u keep ur nose clean u wont have an issue. ill leave the rest for the everyone else

is the Z32 AFM, fully compatible with the PowerFC? do any of u have or use this setup?

OK, so how do we tell if its a s1, s1.5??? if some or all of the parts match or dont match what has already been said about these. i have a s1 (im sure) but some of these guys with s2's have similar htings to my s1 , but my car aint a s2. etc.. need a vin check somehow. i know holden do it.(to some extent). anyone got any ideas?
