I totally agree, we need to save water, so i make sure when i wash my car i spray it down at car lovers first, then i use as little water as possible washing my car at home.. but using a Bucket of water as the council states, is the dumbest thing ive ever heard, you waste 20x as much water, as using ur spray gun on ur hose. i must admit i shouldnt even use the hose, BUT what about the government not putting resctrictions on the mines? they use millions of gallons of fresh water each day to wash the minerals?.. they need to work out something with car lovers, to allow bucket users, or Bucket base, with gerneys, etc. so that people can spend the extra few mins washing their car, and using recycled water. beacuse ur always going ot have muddy 4x4's forgein objects lodged in the brush, and people cant afford to spend another 6k repainting their ride.

holy crap, i visited this one too while i was drunk! .. dammit!. well my secrets out now, no point editing it. those rubber brushes aint so bad, i have used them,. just preferr soft cloth on the sky... as most owners would bit hard to keep ur car smick with these crazy restrictions we got here in QLD hey. .. Just wondering, why is it that they dont allow buckets at car lovers? just for business resons? or is it something to do with the chemicals used breaking down properly in the Underground recycle treatment tank?..

hi, i had same issues aswell. ive also tried them all and keith for wheels, and the above quoted place. and they all seems to not be able to get the wheels i wanted either. or they were extremely expensive. found that speedy do some wheels, with correct offsets, and brake clearences for skylines, good prices, check out what they got here. upgraded to new rims, selling old ones. 4 x 16" inch skyline rims plus tyres 85% tread still good condition. rims are perfect, few small nicks n scratches on outter rim edge (as you would expect with used rims), only Minor. never hit anything, rims are balanced. all in VGC. Tyres are 225x50x16 Toyo's These are the Duel spoke Mspec 5 spoke style Rims., Silver (Factory Powder Coat I think.). i dont really agree. these brushes u guys use, are not soft, and if u use them everyday, if u look closely do cause wear dullness. in order to keep ur paint smick u gotta use soft compound (NOT RUBBER) which is what those brushes are made of. and since ur car must be a POS. u didnt notice the tiny scratches.,, ill use my bucket, and my sponge. and ill pay u an extra $5 to do so. some people care about their cars, and business's revolving around the business of people respecting their own cars. should realize that. and especially with these new water restricitons we gotta pull together!!!. Not everyone who brings a bucket, is trying ot save a buck. or think that ur brush is poor quality. but they have have a certain proceedure that works for them, to bring out best results for their car. and you morons runnin them places need to realize that!!. regards, drunk guy (just ignore me) totally uncalled for.

Havnt u guys got "Car Lovers", there?.. drive aorund bound to be a place where u wash ur car. its got 'gerneys" 1$ buys u 2 mins, etc. or 1 min. wat i do is.. go to CAr lovers. Blast all dirt off, pull out my Eagle wash. scrub her down with my soft spunge. dont use their brush., blast her off for another 1$. make sure u bring ur sham, with my shammy, swipe her down. take her home clean the windows. give her a polish. now its ready for show n shine. hit it with wet look if im feeling frisky. now shes blinging like a mutha... and im from brisbane, where we dont got no water... just alchohol. cheers.

yea same here, im going to get the HKS exhaust looked at, it hasnt been touched since it was done in japan, before the i got the car. so not sure. well see if it solves the ticking. might pull it all off and change all the seals/gaskets.

stock internals from the Rb30 can handle a hell of alot. 'a mysterious dusty old man who emerged from the bush once said, "they are bullet proof ", i didnt take much notice cause he had a stick with a checkerd bag hanging from it. yea my bros vl sounds like the injectors. but mine sounds louder from underneith than up at injectors.. no lifter noise on mine.. hmm omg this tick tick tick sound is driving me crazy WEeEeeoOOO

Yea well it was just doing it on warm up, But now it seems to be doing it hot also. But sometimes after a bit of a thrashing it goes away ?..

what u are hearing is most likely lifter / cam related. and its a TAPing isnt it. not a tick. check ur oils ur ising is correct. if that is ok . You may have worn components, u could fix this buy using slightly thicker oils, or buy replacing those components. and or adjusting them.. im not sure though if they cannot be adjusted. as well.. ive never had a look inside my engine yet )

Belts are perfectly new condition. and the Tick sounds is like tick, tick , tick, tick, 1 tick about half a second. Doesnt matter if i have it in neutral or in gear, when stationary can here it well. from underneith.

The timing belt was just changed about 12k kms ago. apparently they did the bearings also. as it got a 100,000km service before i purchased the car, As i requested from the buyer. although u know u never know for sure what mechanics do unless u watch them, but the noise sounds like its comming from underneith the car, and No its not a Big end Knock or a Tappet TAP. its a Tick tick tick likea bomb .. but i havnt blown up yet

OK i have neglected my post busy with work. OK its not a Tapping. ie. lifters or Other cam related .. its a Ticking. can hear it most from underneith the car. oil i use is Nulon 15-40 High Tech fast flowing. But i find it hard to believe its an oil related issue. though i could be wrong, ive built quite a few engines in my time, but I am new to this Import Scene so my ears are open to all suggestions. Its weird it sounds like tick, exactly that. like and now it does it warmed up also, its Not loud, u cannot here it when ur cruising along, only really when ur stopped. can hear it most when ur in like an Undercover car park, or next to a wall , so the sound bounces from underneith the car to the wall, My brothers VLT also has a similar ticking sound, and both of us has Bumped our exhausts , but this could just be coinsidence of course.
