uh.. i dont think they would leak over night as there is no pressure there, all oil just goes down runners back into the sump. , but when the engine is first started. and the oil passes over them while they arnt heated up and sealed yet. hmmm dunno .. but it could be plausable - although questionable. because i would think that it would always happen, not just warming up if its valve seals. especially when u nail it. are you always warming up the car and warming down? turbo seals is the first thing i would think.

10-20kw .. it can actually be alot more than that. Top Gear did a show where they each had to buy an old sports car.. was interesting to see. exactly how much less power each car had,.. from since the time they came out, to when they stuck each old sports car on the dyno.. 1 was about 100hp difference. but i bet also the fuels that they ran on back then were alot different to todays fuels also. so there is alot of different, things that can make up the difference. i.e internal wear/clearence, compression/ timing/ fuels. and obviously, the wear of the cars drive train!. drive train makes big difference on dynos. if the drive train is worn. ie. diff and trains, or gearbox, and clutch etc. could also definently cause loss of power to wheels. on top of a worn engine

ahh kool just did all my oils I was going to go with the Motal 400 turbolight but decided to go with what i have been previously using which is a full synthetic. did diff and trans also noticed big differences with trans and diff using this stuff below. btw mine is a manual 5spd. Engine: Nulon 10-40W full synth 'Hi-tech Fast flowing' @ 50$ for 5 Litres (australian owned and made apparently) Trans: Motul Gear300 @ 16$ per litre Diff: Motul FF competition @ 42$ per litre dunno wat was in the trans and diff before i just did the refil, but can feel the difference

Hi guys/girls, As the topic title, and description states. Im getting this ticking sound. when my car is idling. i found that its mostly when engine is warming up, but sometimes also while its warmed up. its not a knocking or a taping, its a 'ticking' sound, like a sensor or something, the sound is most hearable from underneth . a friend of mine say, its from a exhaust leak. from knocking the exhaust on like a speed hump or something, which has created a small leak, which makes a sensor tick like that..? hMMmm? Now before i spend $$$ getting it all pulled out, i was wondering. if anyone has had or knows of this issue, and the fix for it. and if there was a leak where would it be, and what would be ticking.. They are different , R32 = Mechanical - R33 = Electronic - id say it saves weight being electronic. Not sure about later R32 GTR models like the 94, maybe have electronic. No, hicas light does not come on when becomes active.. I noticed some people dont realize their hicas is working, obivously havnt driven enough in other cars. to know the difference.

hi kylee, um good question i was also after specs on mine stocko. I have simlar model to Yours. .. i found this in the forum. One of the guys here made it, (great work btw), check it out here. http://nissanskyline.6te.net/ got loads of info on skylines stock.. um i think they were 147rwkw stock btw. cheers Oh ps. Hicas light comming on. isnt normal. mine comes on occasionally, (hicas diagnostic mode) where light comes on and steering tightens.. but i disconnect battery for about 15 mins, then reconnect, and its ok. I think probably sensor issue. But No mechanics or performance shops ive been too so far can figure it out. so good luck with that one. but first think is to disconnect battery, hicas fuse, Hicas computer, and check all sensors. and clean connections. if u can find someone who knows how to troubleshoot the system properly. let me know.

I drive a Silver R33 GTS25T Mspec, no stickers or advertising, if i did i would stick milk and juice stickers*. had the car about 6 months or so, some mods ,but keep it looking sleeper. im comming out of the wood work here, with my first post here. will say hi if you say hi, dont mind chattin about cars. if u see me wave, and im pretty sure ill wave back, Got a mate who owns a nice Black R33 2door might be the one ur talking about.
