What a great weekend, overshadowed by a very sobering accident involving Keir and the R35. Was relieved to hear he was ok, as Martin said showing the importance of proper safety gear on the track. It was very difficult to head up the hill immediately after this, it consumes your thoughts and makes it very hard to focus. On a happier note - well done to Willall! Fielding 5 of the top 6 shootout then with 2 podiums to boot!! Anyone wanting supreme tuning and assistance in race prep go and see Martin and the boys!! :-)

Stock box in my 430rwkw GTR, so far has done approx 2500kms of track work. Not a problem with the box, survives 2nd gear tyre warmups on slicks and 8000rpm launches with an OS GIken triple plate. Mechanical sympathy is a must - and far cheaper than a replacement box..... Of note this setup has not been on the drag strip (no track in SA) and I realise that a proper hookup on a prep'd track would probably kill it :-)
