After an internal battle deciding how much car damage to accept for a great time up the hill, the vintage pig (and driver) came to the party clocking a 46.15 to claim 4th Outright and 2nd 4WD saloon for the weekend. During the top 6 shootout, I was able to run a PB of 45.29, but alas not quite enough to gain entry into the Top 3. Big thanks to Willall Racing, Infinity Signs and Autosport for their on going support for the 2011 racing season, and I look forward to the next round of Time Attack with some new go fast (or is it stop fast?) bits to help the campaign against those cars built this side of the turn of the century.......

And good to see the old and wise still beating the young........

2 sets of RE55s Semi Slicks for sale: Both sets have a few track days left in them, however one set is a little less worn than the other, and has some camber wear (still fine to put on the rear). Size is 255/40/R17 and even when they reach the wear indicator are still far better than road tyres for grip on the track - and these are CHEAP!! Better set: $400 ono Other set: $300 ono 1 Set of 4 Maxxis Street Tyres 255/40/R17 $200 2 of them are around 50%, the other 2 %70. They have a little superficial tread damage due to HP and the dyno! This doesn't effect the tyre though. This is another possibilty - factory sump however Adrian stated the car was being driven sedately to the tuners (obviously prior to tuning) and I wouldn't expect a high oil flow / feed situation to the head - especially on the street. The engine also runs head restrictors and external oil return to the sump. Also, once the oil pump is past initial prime and coated with oil, the pump should pump air. Many Rb's that spin bearings on the track etc suck air only for a short period of time then regain oil pressure - although by then the damage is done.....
