  4. hahaha ok, i think i am being a little mis understood, i def have them in the right place, just the position of the bolt for both the oil/water feeds,
  5. yeh i just want to no is there a right or wrong way to put the oil water lines back one to the turbo,
  6. has any one had there synchros fixed, as mine is bad in 5th always and bad in fourth when racing, any one have a ruff idea of price? thanks Dan

  8. hey guys girls my mates F6's turbo started ratteling the other day, so had a look and notice a few loos bolts that seem to help connect the exhaust housing to the centre cartridge where the iol and water feeds are, we have since replaced 4 of the 6 bolts and turbo seems to be fine the bottom two bolt i couldnt get too, one is missing completly and the other that is near the oil drain appears to be snapped as i tediously tightened mm at a time (killied me) only to realise after about half an hour it was making no progress, obviously leaving the turbo in this way is not going to be good, however my mate has started driving it again.. and the rattle has gone and seems to be running fine also i took the oil and water feeds off to access some of the bolts. im hoping i put them back on properly i lined the hole up in the bolt with the feed line, seemed to be common sense, is this right??? please say yes so after all that. should i advise him to stop driving get the turbo off to a specialist to get checked out, or justget the turbo off and try replace the missing bolt and do something with the one that seems to be snapped i have actually already said if it was my car i wouldnt be driving it, but some ppl cant be told help would be great, thanks dan

  11. ^^^^ what he said.. a 2wd sump wont match a 4wd block. i bought a modified rb26 sump put in my GTS with rwd 26 in it
  12. im with bubba, RB2634 with big huffer GT40 or HKS T51 get the head from here or other site, and see spoolimports.com or ripsracing.com both big RB30 ppl obviously stroked out to rips RB33 or spool for RB34 gearbox for an auto get a holden VL auto and pimp it out or as someone said an R34 box and pimp it out Dan
  13. do u have aftermarket ecu?? sounds more like coil issue
  14. go the 264 degree and the biggest lift u can get. the degree determines where they will be most effective in the rev range.. so 264 is perfect on a standard reving 25.
  15. fruity lexia or a cheap cough medicne does it for me.. corona at pre's then double vodka red bulls all night.

  17. agreee with dan the man.. the monaro was exported to the uk well before the R8 and so on... according to top gear the r8 has since replaced the monaro in the uk market, just what i have gathered from top gear. also agree with topaz australian or should i say american V8's arent much chop. getting bigger and bigger with minimal power out put increases.. where the euro v8 arent much bigger then 4L and much more powerful, clearly they are more expensive but thats got to be more to do with the car they come in more so then the technology and R&D in the motor themselves... still want a big V8 tho.
  18. yeh went pro cams. 270 10.8 the reason i want to do the hole head is cos i got the motor with a loud noise and unknown history.. turned out the bottom end was fine no spun bearing or any thing like that, so thats been fully rebuilt and dont want to take any risks with the head so start from scratch there aswell.. i have read enough to no that i didnt need to go all out with the head but dont want to risk it, might as well do it right the first time dan
  19. hey lads. im nearing the end of purchasing for my 26 build.. not 100% on how the valve train works and what is actually in there so far i have got tomie cams guides and valve lifters and apexi springs and retainer obviously still need valves but not sure on what else any advise on what else is needed and if new from nissan would work or aftermarket is needed would be swell, BTW dont have a power goal as such, just going to run a GT3582R at 25 pound, with the .8 rear thanks Dan

  21. hey lads. just got a turbosmart pro gate 48, now looking on the turbo smart site there is no info on the 48 any more. i have only been able to find a spring combination to run 21psi, with a 14 outer spring and a 7 inner. im pretty sure as i was reading on a couple of site that they can come with a 10 psi inner spring, however i cant seem to find a place that sells them, any ideas
  22. hey i dont think i have touch any thing but the way i open up threads has changed and for the worst it still shows the first post as normal but then it just has abrieviated posts after that in a sort of drop down thing has any one elses done this. or do u no how to change it back as i am not a huge fan of such set up thanks DAN
  23. hey all after the following for a progate 48 a ten psi inner spring a Vee band clamp and weld adaptor spring must be new, would consider 2nd hand in the others Thanks Dan
