  1. hey all about to install my oil cooler my self and have the oil filter relocater but want to no if i can put it in upside down so that its less messy for oil changes and what not.. also its going to be sitting higher then it does on the engine will this pose a problem at all. and finnally with an 11 row oil cooler how much more oil is the rb25 going to need??? thanks dan

  5. whats the engine made of??? stock or built??? just interested to no if you dont mind tellling
  6. id say the spluttering would be coils, get a set of split fires as already suggested, get a 3" dump and you have way to many mufflers in your exhaust. id get a good high flow cat and get the 2 mid mufflers taken out. or forget the cat and still get the two mid mufflers removed.
  7. hey ppls saving for turbo and external waste gate setup. going for a high mounted gt3540 (with a .82 rear but will be running a .63 adaptor for a bit) and have no idea about external gates. any help would be great thanks dan
  8. not that i noticed... i had a look under it when it was on the hoist and couldnt see any bushes that look worn or deteriating
  9. yeh i thought it could just be the new tyres, so i checked the pressure. and they are cheap tyres i always run cheap tyres as im not very nice to them... they are 225/50 on the stock R33 rim.
  10. hey ppls i just got a hicas lock bar put iin and drove it for a month or so before getting the wheels aligned and it felt fine. i just recently got new rear tyres and all 4 wheels aligned. no when im heavily accelarating the back of the car just starts to feel loose like it is wobbling on the road. it kicks in at about 100kph and as you keep going it get more and more disconserning. it feel like its going to just spin out all most.... i have also noticed that when i change lanes on the freeway that it will change then wobble back on forth a couple times also not the most comforting feeling... i have stock suspension and took it back to the place that i got the alignment done to get the to recheck it and camber and alignment was fine... so does any one have any ideas what it could be?? thanks dan

  14. hey was looking into an RB30 bottom end on my 33... and im sure this has been covered but the rb30 sticky is way to long.. does it make a difference if i use a turbo bottom end or not
  15. yeh i read that in a thread... was that you who had that problem??? im looking at the HKS cams should i keep in mind the same thing with the build year and the crank angle sensor
  16. i got a walbro done was cheaper smaller and less noisy, and pumped just as much as the 044 i think or 040, one or the other

  19. i also got this exhaust its nice... good tone but not exessive noise. i did get the middle muffler cut out to make a little bit louder, didnt do much but nice exhaust i must say

  21. hey ppl want to upgrade my cams. dont really no what is a good upgrade. so are the nengun cams any good Nissan ECR33 RB25DET 97/8- INLET, Duration 256. Lift 8.8mm (For NVCS engines, Not suitable for NEO Straight 6) Nissan ECR33 RB25DET 97/8- EXHAUST, Duration 256. Lift 8.8mm (For NVCS engines, Not suitable for NEO Straight 6) what kind of duration and lift am i looking for... also can the cam be different for inlet and exhaust as negun offer a slightly different exhaust cam Nissan ECR33 RB25DET 97/8- EXHAUST, Duration 264. Lift 9.0mm (For NVCS engines, Not suitable for NEO Straight 6) now nengun knows my car is a 1996 and highlights these as suitable but am i seeing that its for a 97/98 model only??? any advice on cams would be cool thanks dan
  22. i read this thread jumped in my car and it started happening. i got an avcr tuned less then a fortnight ago z32 afm custom piping and a stock turbo with no BOV at all. i presume if i had any leaks it would have been braught up when tuning, thats why i dont have a bov, had a cheap china one that was leaking.. is there a quick and easy and cheap way to fix???
