  1. I finally put in my order for both the wideband and the oil pressure sensor too, will let everyone know how they go!
  2. Damn it, no taps into the sandwich plate....
  3. I would prefer to keep the stock one working if possible. Although I just checked my sandwich plate and it doesn't have any taps into it to place the sensor... Crap.
  4. PS - are those black fittings any closer to being sent out?
  5. Yes its for pressure. And of course........ I have too much on my plate at the moment and was not thinking straight I have an oil cooler kit waiting to go into the car, that will do nicely!
  6. Can someone please advise whether the sandwich plate in this kit has a 1/8 NPT tap in it? I have one of these kits sitting at home but I am not there at the moment and I need to know ASAP as I want to buy an oil pressure sensor thingy. Thanks

  8. I am about to bite the bullet and buy one of these: http://www.plxdevices.com/wideband.php Can someone please confirm that this will work with: 1) 0-5V wideband input for my FC Datalogit. 2) 0-1V narrowband input to my PowerFC to completely replace my 02 sensor with the wideband Bosch sensor. I think I will also buy an oil pressure sensor too: http://www.plxdevices.com/sensors.php Where would be the best place to tap this sensor into the system? I would like to keep the stock oil pressure sender in the oil cooler/warmer if possible. Thanks!!!
  9. Using numbers in place of words is fully gangsta, isn't that a plus? But seriously I might order one. It's cheap, looks well made and it looks properly baffled, and I'm sure CAM's scruitineers wouldn't pickupon it being under 2L would they?
  10. And at least I know its not one of the Chinese copies!
  11. damn... that looks nice!!! And I was just about to buy one of the current ones!
  12. Well I finally got around to giving it another crack. Used my impact driver and they came out easily haha. Thanks for all the input Also suprised to confirm that Neo's come with an N1 pump as standard.
  13. Thanks guys for all the tips, will give it another crack tonight. Mafia - I did actually try freezing the whole thing, sounds like I got it around the wrong way! Will try the heat option.
  14. Does anyone have any tips for removing the big phillips screws on the oil pump gear cover? I cant get them out! Thanks Justin
  15. Why not pick up one of their quality $183 turbo's while you are purchasing from them! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-GT35-1-T3-flange-TurboCharger-A-R-70-63-oil-cool-5-bolt-GT35-1-TurboCharger-/190591317008?pt=Race_Car_Parts&hash=item2c6020b410#ht_3894wt_945
  16. You know what, I think I am wrong! I just went out and checked the oil pump off my Neo (which has never been rebuilt before now) and the oil pump definately looks like an N1 pump going by the pattern of screws on the back. I couldn't find my bloody big phillips screwdriver to get the screws out to check the gears inside though. I will confirm though. PS cool video. I need to get my car build finished and get it out on the track!!!!
  17. The Neo definitely comes with a standard, non N1 oil pump.
  18. Could you take some pics on where and how you fitted it?
  19. Cruise on over to Perth, I wanna see this thing It will inspire me to get my ass in to gear and get mine finished!!
  20. Sadly I think it goes beyond this forum. I think the whole world is becoming more stupid!
  21. You actually need a 20mm spacer for the 3076's. The 3071's only need a 10mm spacer.
  22. It's a 2.6L engine....... Maybe it's a Mitsubishi Astron motor
  23. Do you have the little white plastic lid from the fuel tank, the one with the fuel lines and fuel pump wires going through it? If you are willing to sell it please PM me a price. Thanks Justin
  24. Do you have the little white plastic lid off the fuel tank? The one with the hoses and fuel pump wires going through it? If so please PM me a price. I am OS at the moment so it might be a little while before I reply. Ta Justin
  25. Thanks for clarifying Can anyone confirm if they have ever NOT used a torque plate when honing, and used ARP head studs, and more importantly, did they have any problems with compression due to not using a torque plate?
