  1. Me too! I'm hoping to mount it with a bracket connected inside the ashtray (R34). My calculations show it will just cover just a bit of the double DIN unit above, hopefully not too much. But now that I found out the E-01 does not program / monitor the E-Manage Ultimate I'm questioning buying the E-01 at all.
  2. I was just about to buy a GReddy Profec E-01 EBC as I was also going to buy an E-Manage Ulitmate down the track but I have just found out the E-01 can only program / monitor the older Blue version E-Manage. How stupid is that! Does anyone know if there is a new model coming out anytime soon that can interface with the E-Manage Ultimate? Also are the Profec E-01 EBC's any good?
  3. Yep any ideas would be great I was thinking of removing the ashtray, bolting in a bracket inside, and mounting it as low as possible there. I figure it will cover some of the double DIN stereo but don't mind. Think this would be possible? My gf said she would rather if I didn't cover the vents heheh I don't actually have the E-01 yet so I haven't got a real idea on the size of unit yet, I guess I should check the specs on it.

  5. I too get crap fuel economy from my R34 GT-t, around 300-350 max around the city. Doesn't seem to make much difference if I drive like a granny. I'm thinking of changing my O2 sensor as I'm putting in a new dump pipe next week anyway. What is the general consensus on O2 sensors to suit this? I know several people have been using the Falcon I6 ones successfully. Should I get one of these? Whats the part number? Thanks!
  6. I was pretty sure all the turbo (2dr and 4dr) have the helical diff and only the autos have the viscous LSD's? Does anyone know this for sure?
  7. I am very close to buying a PowerFC with hand controller from Japan on ebay. Will there be any difference to ones that were brought in Australia when they were available? Is there any news on a replacement model becoming available next year? I really was not planning on getting one till later next year some time but i they are going to disappear for ever I will have to try and get one now
  8. So does your Mongoose M80 fully integrate with the standard key fob things? ie no extra thing with buttons on it? Also how much did you play for this? Cheers.
  9. I have recently brought a R34 GTT 4 door manual. It currently just has a 3" cat back system and damper adjustable suspension. It runs really weel and I'm very happy with ut. The onl thing is that it only gets between 300 and 350k's per tank around the city! Is this normal. If I drive with economy in mind it doesnt seem to get much better on fuel. I recently did a run down to the country recently and I did almost get 500k's to a tank. Anyway I am soon going to purchase a AVC-R boost controller, split dump / front pipe, high flow cat, and air filter. I was wanting to know that if I was to purchase a Power PC (there seem to be a few left on eBay) and get it tuned properly would the fuel economy get much better when running boost at around stock levels? Also would it be wise to bother getting one of these keeping in mind the fairly limited mods above? I may do a few more small mods in the furture, but nothing extreem. Thanks in advance
  10. My 34 look identical to yours! I priced a replacement key for mine and Nissan Australia quoted $458 as it had to come from Japan! I am considering trying to source one from Japan directly myself.
  11. I also wanted to confirm this as I have just brought a 34 GTT. I read in sales brochures (must have been NZ ones) that they all come standard with an immobilzer security system. Also mine was just taken over the pits and licensed (in WA) as its just come from Japan - I though they would not have registered it without having an immobiliser as thats the law in WA? I have the key with the blue and black buttons on it. I did get another key cut and I tested this and it did start although i had only just started with the proper key just moments before. Think I better test it again! Is there any way to get an alarm or immobiliser and have it integrated into the factory key / buttons? I don't want to have to carry around another fob thing for the alarm.
