  1. Thanks Kitto, you were right, it went on pretty easy. Not happy with Ross, I just got the balancer back from them and they have dropped it, putting a huge dent in it (picture attached). The box they sent it back in was fine so it was obvious they dropped it before sending it back. I put it on anyway, hopefully it will be alright.
  2. Hey Hanaldo, are you running your wideband in the stock o2 sensor location in the dump pipe? Maybe I will dump the standard sensor too and just run my wideband there. The only problem is I have heard you should run it 36 inches back from the turbo or they die in no time.
  3. .............................................................................. Link G4.
  4. I finally got my Kinagawa actuator, I asked for the extra nipple but didn't get one! I might be able to find something with the right thread to suit though. The actuator itself looks very good.
  5. Cheer's Kitto, I will give the standard bolt a go. At first I didn't think it would fit on at all, although I just measured with digital callipers. I sent it back to Ross and he checked it with a proper inside mic and the measurements were apparently all good and within spec, so I will give it another crack tomorrow with the standard bolt. It is a pretty chunky bolt, should be OK I think.
  6. What are peoples experiences with Tomei fuel pumps (hard wired to full voltage) in terms of maximum rwkW? Application is a RB25DET Neo running WMI.
  7. I'm just wondering if anyone in the Perth area (I'm in Vic Park) has a crank pulley installation tool that I could borrow tomorrow? I will come and pick it up / return it, put a deposit down, provide beer etc Or alternatively, know where I could buy one at a reasonable price to suit Nissan engines, either today, or tomorrow? I have a really tight Ross balancer and I'm going to need a proper tool to get it on Cheers! Justin

  9. haha I was struggling with this a couple of weeks ago. I was going to cut out a circle and install a gauge there. In the end I gave up and deciding to lose the stereo as i needed more space for gauges / water meth controller and some other crap.
  10. Cheer's - that is very reassuring
  11. haha - so you never use them for RB builds? My machinist did not use one and I am yet to run it but it has been a small worry in the back of my mind that I should have had them use a torque plate when honing. Cheers Justin
  12. And I have some Deatschwerks 600cc Neo drop in injectors, brand new, if required
  13. Yep they are the same length and can be used without modification. PS - I have a set in perfect nick if kitto doesn't want to sell them for some reason haha
  14. FAST is wrong on this one. Both of the standard Neo's I have have seen dismantled (including my own) have had an N1 oil pump. And several others membes of this forum have seen this also. There is the possibility that some did not have the N1 but it seems unlikely. Mine was a very early build Neo.
  15. Cheers for clarifying
  16. Thanks mate One more question - you mentioned earlier its a dual port actuator, are you sure the one I'm looking at (link above) is a dual port one as I cant see the second port? And if it is, does Eiji just block the second port by default, and you need to request the nipple if you want to use it? I'm wondering if its worthwhile using the second port?
  17. Did you get around to fitting it yet? I still havent bought one yet, but probably will later today. And can someone please confirm that one of these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281016579897#ht_1998wt_1414 will definitely fit a GTX3071R? It is also A/R 0.60 so I'm sure it will fit but just want to make sure! Thanks
  18. Fair enough I dont think the 4" pipe is a requirement, it just might be easier considering my turbo has a 4" inlet, and my airbox will be custom built. And I'm building the airbox for the challenge, I want to have a play with fibreglass and see what I can do (which could be a spectacular failure). As for venting the BOV, I would rather recirculate if possible.
  19. I have heard the Neo has the highest flowing head out of all the RB engines. ITB's on the 26 are cool though!
  20. Scotty - do you make these to order? If so could you PM me with a price? I would need a 4" one for a low mounted GTX3071R, with the BOV return and catch can return inlets (I can supply these from the old pipe I have), going into a custom air box which I am yet to build. I am not running a MAF sensor so the pipe would go straight into the box.
  21. Cheer's for the responses Looks like even 2 x my 8AWG wire is not going to cut it!!! I think I will leave the battery relocation for another time.
  22. Can't be the half moons as they are new too, and also the engine doesn't have any oil in it yet Do you think that oil leak ran down over the flywheel into the clutch area, and if so did it cause you any problems with the clutch holding power? I guess if it came down the head though it would run behind the flywheel. Cheers Justin
  23. It's just a single plate, probably a 50/50 chance they were in a position where the oil would have come into contact with the friction plates.
  24. I searched for a DIY guide on relocating the battery to the boot, and surprisingly couldn't find anything! Can anyone advise on the minimum cable gauge required to relocate the battery to the boot? I have a heap of 8AWG cable (61Amp capable) which I realise is probably not going to be sufficient, but I am just wondering if I run 2 of the lines if it will be enough? Cheers Justin
