  1. no worries goodluck
  2. That turbo should make 300hp, but remember its not just the power hp/kw you make thats important, but when you reach it! Ofcourse a bigger turbo will make more power, but with more lag and traction issues on boost in rwd application, the next stage for 300rwkw for instance with an rb25det would be best suited with a Garrett gt3076r.
  3. Coil Packs, remove the coil pack cover, have a look with the engine running at nite and if you see electrical lightning storms, the coil packs are arching out.

  7. Heres some pics of our custom pickup in the 25/30. 1. Remove Spark plugs 2. Remove Cas (crank angle sensor) 3. Remove turbo feed line 4. Start the engine Then keep cranking till oil comes out the turbo feed line make sure you have one person cranking and the other person watching the line, stop as soon as oil comes out. If oil doesnt come out then your sucking air from somewhere, check that the pickup flange is flush against the gasket/block.
  8. Buddy try priming the pump up without the CAS connected, its on the front cover you crank angle sensor, we usually make sure the engine has oil pressure before putting it in the car, you can undo the turbo oil feed and crank it till oil squirts out then you will know.... it does take a while to prime and there could be lots of air, maybe put some oil down the line.

  18. Hmm yes go the hks, the cheap dumps actually have cost a few people there engines as the wastegate hole in the dump pipe didnt line up with the wastegate and hence in turn the wastegate couldnt open all the way, causing higher boost levels then anticipated. Its gonna be hard to get the hks dumps at a good price from japan as the dollar is down the creek atm , so local in stock will be your best option, try japanese import spares they are in SA thought they might have some 2nd hand ones or new ones, i can check them out if you require http://www.japaneseimportspares.com.au/home/
  19. Want to sell the lot, if there is enuff interest about individual parts will separate
