  1. Yes well the hks dump pipe has to fit into your stock exhaust system and is made to bolt up to your front pipe so it cant have a longer separate pipe, its not just the length but the position at which it plums back in which will also affect the way exhaust gases are removed from the system and in turn you want an exhaust that has the least amount of turbulence possible i.e exhaust gases going separate ways so they dont disrupt the rest of the exhaust flow and which is why plumbing the separate wastegate pipe further down the system does help this but in turn leads to boost spiking issues...
  2. 3. These are the trust ones
  4. Yes well kind of, its an R33 series 2 the one with the black plastic front wheel, got me 220rkw, which is now up for sale (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R33-Series-2-Turbo-Mani-t247362.html) as i have upgraded to an HKS gt2540 and hoping for around 260rkw, which will bolt up to the CES split dump front, with the aid of a grinder to remove the half moon divider , as the hks turbos already have the divider inbuilt in the rear of the turbo housing, see attached pic... I think the biggest problem with the chinese made "items" is that they dont make the flanges thick enuff to handle the actual weight of the dump front so they tend to crack and brake once fitted to the car, this is very obvious when comparing them to the HKS or Blitz ones which have very thick flanges and hence are much better items and in turn will last much longer The boost spiking issue is also due to the position at which the separate wastegate pipe is plumbed back in, good dump front pipes or dump pipes use a very long separate pipe which plumbs back in much further down the pipe for example the trust dump pipes for gtr.
  5. Have an R33 Series 2 turbo for sale and stock exhaust manifold turbo was making 220rwkw on my r33gtst, with power fc, trust fmic, 3" exhaust, split dump front etc turbo has 45 v1 stamped on it and has the black lighter front wheel, spools at just over 2200rpm $700 ono for turbo & manifold (turbo comes complete with elbow etc) pics below, welcome to see running in car as havent removed it yet, no smoke, is very tight no shaft play, selling due to upgrading
  6. CES have a well made split dump front which is eqivalent to the HKS, blitz etc and they are local in Australia. I have there system on my r33 gtst, very fast spool and no boost spike, expensive but well worth it as quality is second to none! http://www.cesracing.com.au/Products/ also see here for pics http://www.cesracing.com.au/images/NISSAN%20RANGE.JPG
  7. Spotted an orange r33 turning onto portrush road near burnside maybe Damageinc and last nite a red r33 mint as on west terrace, gave u a wave buddy
  8. yes, was supposed to have "230rwkw", confusing me as has the following mods, trust fmic, 3" mandrel bend exhaust, 3" split ces dump front, k&n pod filter and intake, blitz ebc, apexi power fc, stock series 2 turbo (max 200rwkw?) is making 11.3psi on 80% injector duty, not sure if standard injectors, they are purple so assuming they are standard. had a worked r32 gtr with 300rwkw and that was almost twice as fuel efficent, this rb25 got around 270k's to the tank to be exactly and thats with fuel at 99cents a litre
  9. Yes good point, actually the guy who sold me the car told me it was running a z32 afm...
  10. Hi guys wondering if this is a just an r33 series 2 afm, inside appears to be different and there is no mesh can someone comfirm, if so why is "power intake" selected on my power fc instead of "r33 normal", car has heaps of power till 5,000rpm then kind of tapers, fuel is bad 300k's per tank...it does have a k&N pod filter and aftermarket intake pipe to turbo.
  11. So true Sled your spot on there buddy
