  1. there is a nissan gasket kit that has all that stuff in it.

hey BeerBaron do you mean the 'engine' gasket kit available through nissan-which has head gasket etc. as well? or have you found a supplier who does a 'turbo changeover' set, with only the required bits and pieces? my local nissan dealership spares guys say it has to be ordered seperately :)

  3. hi Deren,

i am in the same boat at the moment deciding on what to upgrade to. i am leaning towards the 2860R-5 because they seem to fit the response/power balance i am after. also they are currently only $2450 del from slide :P i have a friend who imported some HKS 2530 through greenline a while back and he tells me that he did pay a tax on arrival at customs, about 10% on top. i know what you mean about the gaskets- i have been quoted roughly $300 from nissan for everything required. so if you factor that in they end up very similarly priced....

    hope that helps, Mike

  4. That would have to be one of the worst photo's of an r32 I've ever seen. All you can see is the front wheel. What the?

i think it is very artistic, with the reflection of the wheel in the water below it. well done! takes people with taste to notice though.... :)

  5. had a microtech on my s1 33 gtst actually was the first in adelaide to have their 'plug n play' setup. in short it was very poor as a daily driver, mostly cause it did not have enough adjustment for cold start idle up etc. but as alredy stated, fine for a race/weekend only car. oh yeah and definately agree that your tuner is EVERYTHING when dealing in aftermarket ecu. my choice PFC :)

  6. I haven't got a chance to check again today, but I noticed they haven't charged my account so I will follow up again tomorrow. The only reason if they had a delay is if they're waiting on stocks of some rotors...

I've just send an email to RDA and checking up if there's any delay with certain part numbers...

so what did you find out from RDA? have they run out of 908's again!? :)

  7. The switch works by turning off the atessa 4wd effectivly stopping any torque transfer to the front wheels, most of the time its a relay that disconnects the fuse in the engine fusebox (thats how I made mine)

Im not 100% certain about the abs, I remember reading something a while ago, but I cant remeber.

you made your own 2wd/4wd switch? would you mind giving the details- or detailed how to or diagram? something i have wanted to do but can't find a DIY on here... :ninja:
