  1. i was just stating that the N1's had the the cheaper headlights as they were slightly lighter in weight. yours (like mine) appears to have the projector headlights. this has nothing to do with the year of the car. as the 32 gtr's had the projector's all the way till the end of production in 94.
  2. that also sounds like it could be coil packs... might pay to check them
  3. you know what? mine doing the same thing. sometimes it will cut out for a second, other time it will be more. sometimes i have to switch the car off and on again... but im gonna try AFM's, i might get a pair of Z32's
  4. you do relise it was the N1 models that had the non projecter style headlights?
  5. happy birthday gents! have a good one, party hard, but not too hard...

i saw R34PER parked just off main street in mornington. its a bayside blue r34 gtt with gold wheels and SAU Vic stickers on the side windows. it looked very nice. i parked behind it... lol
  7. congrats buddy, and good luck to the new owner. that was one fine looking machine...
  8. my 4th gear synchro's have been bad since the day i bought the car. as most are saying, its a very common problem in the GTR's. ive been "double clutching" the whole time. it helps it to the point where its virtually un-noticable. and if you get it right you can change almost as fast as you normally would. you just need to make sure that you match the revs.
  9. ive still got the standard box in my GTR. its going fine with 310Kw, though i think my 4th gear synchro's have seen better days...
  10. done, hope it helps, as im from VIC
  11. well last week i got 2 new tyres (although just stock federal street tyres). hoping to get a set of semis for the next one maybe... brakes arrive tomorrow... so im in. im really pumped for this one. it'l be my second time at sandown, so hoping to beat my 1.26.4 i did last time
  12. this could be good. trying to secure a driver so i can get both my cars there
  13. cant go wrong with rays wheels.
  14. wow, thats clean! i didnt know they had airbags!!!
  15. you were on the money grant, it turns out it was a poor conection to one of the AFM's, we've cleaned it up and re-connected it and everything appears to be fine. im just going to have to monitor it for a while. thanks guys.
  16. Well done guys, this just goes to show what an awesome all rounder the team has put together! looking forward to seeing what it can do next.
  17. i dont think its fuel pump because its not surging at all, it just cuts out with no warning. cheers.
  18. the car has recently developed a cutting out problem. i could be driving along, the car will be perfectly fine, then all of a sudden the engine just cuts out. sometimes for 5-10sec. but tonight is the worst it has ever been. it did it about 8 times on the way home, i had to keep pulling over. does anyone have any ideas what it could be? any help at all would be much appreciated. thanks, matty.
  19. none other than Sabbadin Automotive. there is a link to their web site below.
  20. looks custom to me. they can look awesome when they are done well.. i had mine done a couple of weeks ago, i must say im very pleased with the outcome.
  21. fingers crossed i can get my brakes in time... if not, i will be there to watch.
  22. Nissan are just messing with us, it will never hit production. besides, with all the re-enforcing that would be needed to counter the missing roof, it would weigh like 2 tons.
  23. um... he was beeing a smart arse. all GTR's are twin turbocharged from factory.
  24. im hoping to get a high 30's time when i go up there in november. depends if i get the semi slicks in time.
