Hi all, As you may or may not be aware next year (2009) will mark twenty years since the R32 GTR first rolled off the production line. So im thinking lets do something to celebrate. The way i see it, we've got a whole year to prepare. So that gives us heaps of time to organise things like venue, dates, events, possibly guest speakers, things like that. I rekon the style of event should be something for everyone. Possibly at a racetrack, or somewhere like DECA, where we can have on track events, show and shines, maybe trade stands and other attractions. We could try and get certain "hero cars" to attend, e.g. gibson motorsport godzilla's. Maybe even try to get guest speakers like Jim Richards or Mark Skafe. Im thinking BIG! something that will get coverage in things like magazines, ignition dvd etc... I also think that an event like this will have no trouble in attracting sponsors to help out in putting this all together. And it can only do good things for the reputation of SAU. Now i want your opinions and ideas on how we can make something like this happen. So come on everyone, post away... Cheers, Matty.

yup, im pretty stoked. i want a good track car, so i rekon that those figures are pretty damn good. the best thing is how responsive it is, when you put your foot down, the power is ready to go!

im not 100% sure, but i think they are the same. the N1 turbos had steel wheels as aposed to the ceramic ones on the standard turbos. but im pretty sure the vspec still had the standard turbos. sorry to hear about the unfortunate accident. hope it all works out for you.

Had the 'R' dynoed last week, and i must say i was rather shocked and stoked at the same time. She's making 310kw at the rears @5400rpm and 1173Nm torque @4300!!!!!! the power is awesome, but i simply could not belive the torque! i mean, the thing pulls like theres no tomorrow but thats more than those big banger AMG merc's!!! do you guys think that this is for real? is there anyone else out there with similar figures? i would love to know.

you would swap a GTR for a wrx, your crazy. the market is really bad for cars at the moment, no one wants to buy them.

were you racing for slips? when you hit the nos did your floor fall out? i love it. lol

im sure that some egg head has done it, not really sure why you would want to. unless maybe it was a full blown drag car.

firstly, welcome to sau, to be quite honest with you its your car, so you can do whatever you like with it. does it really matter what other people might think? Momo is a really good quality brand and i think that our skylines deserve the best! mine has a sparco steering wheel and i love it. just my opinion...

get an rb 25 turbo and high flow it. very straight forward, not too expensive

where are you getting a 240sx from? but an rb20det would go nicely in one im sure?
